Big Brother 14 Spoilers: Live Feed Recap – Thursday, Week 4

In honor of the massive twist explosion that dropped the veteran coaches back into the game on last night’s Big Brother 14 live show, we are ‘resetting’ our Big Brother live feeds coverage as well. At this point, what happened before last night’s Head of Household competition is pretty much moot. The only thing that matters in the “new” game is what happened after the new Head of Household was named and the hamsters began scrambling to figure out who is still on their side… and who is now an enemy to be feared.

WARNING: BIG BROTHER 14 SPOILERS AHEAD!

This post contains Big Brother 14 spoilers from the Big Brother live feeds on Thursday, August 2. Please stop reading here if you do not want to know what happened!

Please note that RealNetworks Superpass is having some issues with the live feeds Flashback feature. Instead of always showing BBT time, it is showing local time to some viewers. So convert your local time to Pacific time when you Flashback, or you can set your computer clock to PT time to make things easier.

BIG BROTHER 14 SPOILERS: BIG BROTHER 14 LIVE FEEDS – THURSDAY, AUGUST 2

Before we dive into our recap of what’s been going on with the Big Brother live feeds since last night’s epid Head of Household endurance competition, I just want to take a minute to applaud former Big Brother hamster Matt Hoffman for his awesomely stated opinion at BigBrotherNetwork.com on the ‘Coaches Twist’ that went down on last night’s live show. This is something you should take a few minutes to read. I couldn’t have said it better myself.

I feel really bad for Shane Meaney. What would have gone down as one of the best backdoors in Big Brother history was demolished by the BB14 producers last night and that sucks. Because of the ‘Coaches Twist’, Shane will never get to have the fun glory of knowing he backdoored Frank Eudy, one of the strongest players of his season right under the nose of legendary BB player Mike ‘Boogie’ Malin. What a waste of a whole week of great Head of Household and Power of Veto  game play.

That being said, let’s move on to the whole new game we have now, which is pretty much what Big Brother 14 was obviously geared to be right from the beggining; the veterans versus the newbies… AGAIN. (I’m getting a strong sense of deja vu here…)

* During the Big Brother 14 live show, veteran Dan Gheesling told Mike ‘Boogie’ Malin that his former player Frank Eudy had been the one who was going to get evicted this week, not Chef Joe Arvin. He told them this as the coaches were voting on whether or not to enter the main competition and “reset” the game. Boogie subsequently goes around all over trying to figure out who was going to vote against Frank.

10:30 PM BBT

Mike Boogie asks Britney Haynes directly if she knew Frank Eudy was the real target for eviction this past week, not Chef Joe Arvin. She denies being involved in such a plot. It’s all new Head of Household Danielle Murphree‘s fault. Dan also blamed it on Danielle. LOL. Danielle is so apparently a schemer! (When in fact she was just a pawn to be used by Shane all week.)

10:50 PM BBT

Danielle and Shane Meaney are talking in the Arcade Room. Shane says that Janelle Pierzina and Joe have already spilled the beans to Mike ‘Boogie’ Malin that Danielle and Wil Heuser were going to vote to evict Frank. Danielle tells Shane she held on to win the Head of Household to make sure he was safe. Yuck. Shane is pissed off because the only thing he accomplished as Head of Household was to make people target him and piss people off. It was a total waste. (Yes, yes it was and it was totally unfair.)

12:20 AM BBT

Janelle Pierzina, Ashley Iocco and Chef Joe Arvin talk in the shoe room. They are still working as an alliance.  Ashley says Dan Gheesling has been coaching his former player Danielle Murphree as if the coaches were going to come into the competition from the beginning. They theorize that most of the players will still be keeping to their teams.

Joe mocks Shane for being all over Danielle after she won HoH. Joe says Ashley should win next week so she can get back rumbs from Shane. (In other words, Shane, you are a man whore.) Janelle says all the time they spent as coaches was just a waste. (Except you got three free weeks to observe everyone else and make alliances.)

At this stage, Head of Household Danielle Murphree is leaning toward nominating Janelle Pierzina as one of the players to put on the eviction block.

1:25 AM BBT

Danielle gets her Head of Household room, which is good, because she needs some place to be smug and attempt to get more clothes off of boy toy Shane Meaney while she holds all the power as Head of Household. Boogie looks like he wants to eat babies. He’s scary. Danielle gets pics of her family, country music and a lot of junk food. We learn that apparently Danielle’s mother did not know she was going to be on the show. She tells Danielle in her letter to please “don’t lose your modesty” and “stay covered up please!” (Hey mom, have you seen some of the ‘modeling’ pics of your daughter out there on the Net? She’s pretty much already shown it all off dear.)

* Some moderate game play talk here and there but the houseguests are in shock and tired and so there is mostly sleeping. *
