The nominations in the Big Brother 14 house yesterday came as no surprise, but the live eviction this week will all come down to who won the Power of Veto Competition today. The next person voted out and off to the Jury House this week will all depend on whether or not the Big Brother Power of Veto is used and if it is, who the new Head of Household puts up as the replacement nominee.

Veto Results Week 9

Only one of the remaining houseguests, Jenn Arroyo, is not a member of the now infamous Quack Pack alliance of Dan Gheesling, Ian Terry, Danielle Murphree and Shane Meaney. Jenn is currently up on the block against Shane Meaney. Dan Gheesling is still pulling the strings of the Quack Pack and current Head of Household Ian Terry is still doing his bidding. Ian told Danielle that Jenn is the target. Danielle told Jenn that Shane is the real target, but the real truth is that Dan would much rather get out Shane.

The scenarios going into the PoV Competition were pretty much lined up like this: if Jenn won the veto, Danielle would go up on the block, which would then end up with Shane going home. If Shane won the veto, then Danielle would go up on the block and Jenn would go home. If Ian or Dan won the veto, the target would be Shane, but they would have to get Danielle on board with the plan.

The competition is over and Shane won the Power of Veto, much to Dan’s dismay. The question now is if he really would not use it to keep Danielle from going up. I hate to think he would be that ridiculously stupid.
