Who will win the Battle Back competition on Big Brother 18 tonight? CBS has released some brand new sneak peek of the challenge, which might just give us a clue to which houseguests may fare best in their last ditch effort to keep in the Big Brother game.
In a newly released Battle Back preview video from CBS, we get a brief look at previously evicted players Glenn Garcia and Jozea Garcia in their head to head battle to move on in the competition. The first round of the Battle Back appears to be a reprise of the “Berry Balanced” Head of Household Competition.
We aren’t sure if all of the battles will take place with the same challenge set up, or if each pair of dueling houseguests will face a different challenge. We’ll have to wait until tonight to find that out. If they do all go against each other in the same competition, it seems like that would give the player who has already done it before an advantage. Like if Jozea should win the first round, wouldn’t that make it easier for him to win the second round having already done the challenge? Hmmm. Food for thought.
The “Berry Balanced” challenge does appear to have been altered somewhat from the original version of the competition. There appear to be fewer ‘berries’ to collect and something called a ‘poison berry’ has been added. In the video clip, we can see Glenn going after this ‘poison berry’ for an advantage in the game, but we aren’t sure yet what this special berry prize does.
If all the houseguests will indeed be going head to head in this modified version of the ‘Berry Balanced’ challenge, I’m thinking Victor or Tiffany may end up as the winner. Victor might have won the previous one if James hadn’t ended up throwing the comp and eliminating his whole team. Tiffany, on the other hand, may not be as physically apt as a player, but she will be going into the competition rested and ready — and extremely motivated by her recent eviction.
Find out what happens in our live recap of tonight’s special Big Brother Battle Back episode coming up at 5 PM PT / 8PM ET.
