Big Brother 18 Preview: Will One Of The Dynamic Duo Win Power Of Veto?

For the third time this season in Big Brother 18, a power player has had their power ripped away in the blink of an eye when they least expected.  Frank Eudy was the first power casualty of the season, then Paulie Calafiore reign abruptly ended after Michelle Meyer and Bridgette Dunning blew up his game.

Now, Paul Abrahamian and Victor Arroyo, close allies, are fighting for their lives inside the Big Brother house after being nominated to the Block by Co-Heads of Household (HOH) Natalie Negrotti and Michelle Meyer.

The last HOH competition was won by Natalie over Corey Brooks by a mere four seconds in the frightening Black Box competition.  Soon after claiming her crown as HOH, America’s Care Package (ACP) dropped into the backyard with the season’s best gift yet. America chose to award Michelle Co-HOH for the week entitling her to all of the perks and responsibilities of the crown including the ability to name one of the Block nominees for eviction.

Natalie chose to nominate Victor to the Block while Michelle’s pick was Paul for eviction. Neither Paul nor Victor seemed too surprised by their nominations. Michelle and Natalie didn’t have many choices at this point in the game with only seven players remaining.

During the nomination ceremony, Michelle told Victor (Natalie’s nominee) that she would use the Power of Veto (POV) on him if she won that power during the POV competition. That would double Victor’s chances of being pulled down off of the Block.  Victor has battled his way back into the house once already after being the third player evicted from the house.

Don’t forget Julie Chen announced last week that there will be a second Battle Back competition between the first five jury members. As of now, the jury members are Da’Vonne Rogers, Zakiyah Everette, Bridgette Dunning, and Paulie Calafiore. The evicted houseguest (HG) this week will be the final HG with the opportunity to battle their way back into the Big Brother house.

Will the Paul or Victor win the golden POV, pull themselves from the Block, and remain safe for another week?  Will Michelle win the POV and live up to her promise to use the POV on Victor?  Will the stress of Victor and Paul both sitting on the Block together cause tension in their alliance and ‘friendship’?  The answers to these questions and many more will be answered tonight on Big Brother.
