Big Brother 2014 Spoilers: Week 1 Power of Veto Ceremony Results

We were quite pleased by the Big Brother 16 spoilers from the week one Power of Veto Competition. But what happened at the Big Brother 2014 Power of Veto Ceremony left us with a whole lot of questions. It also stirred up a whole lot of drama, which we have been enjoying thoroughly on the Big Brother Live Feeds.

Before the Power of Veto Competition, it looked like from the Big Brother spoilers from the Live Feeds that Donny was going to be the target for eviction this week. We weren’t happy about it personally because Donny is such a fun guy to watch on the Live Feeds, compared to fellow nominee Paola, who is just kind of boring. We would rather have Paola as the target than Donny any day.

WARNING: This post contains Big Brother 16 spoilers from the Live Feeds that have not yet aired on the CBS show. You have been warned!

So we were stoked when Donny managed to wrangle a win in the Power of Veto Competition for week one, thus guaranteeing he would not be the Houseguest going home this week. We won’t get to see exactly what happened until the competition is shown tonight on CBS Big Brother, but we can’t wait to see Donny kick everyone’s butt.

At the Power of Veto Ceremony, we were not surprised when Head of Household Caleb decided to put up Joey as the replacement nominee after Donny saved himself from the block. There had been much discussion between Caleb and his allies in the house about putting up Joey as the new target.

Joey was also an early favorite of ours, although we’ve kind of gotten over her this week watching her wreck her own game badly. Even so, we were kind of hoping to see Joey stay anyway, especially because of the Team America secret alliance twist. But from what it is looking like right now, we aren’t seeing how she has any chance at all of surviving Thursday’s eviction.

So that leaves us with quite a few questions. Will CBS Big Brother 16 actually let their first Team America secret alliance member be voted out without a fuss? What will happen with the Team America twist now that the first member has been evicted before it even went into action? Will viewers vote on a replacement, or will we end up with just a two-person secret alliance? Might CBS just give up and dump the whole idea before it even gets a real start?

Guess we’ll have to wait and see until after the eviction on Thursday night how all of that will play out!
