Big Brother Renewed for Big Brother 22!

If you just cannot get enough of watching strangers competing for $500,000, well you’re in luck, because Big Brother 22 is officially a go. Earlier today, CBS made the official announcement that Big Brother will be back for a 22nd season, bringing the show to officially being on the air for 20 years (it premiered on July 3, 2000). We may have some type of celebration or special season in honor of this monumental event.

This might be the season where an-all star rumor might actually be true! Fans of Julie Chen-Moonves also don’t have to worry because her return was also announced.

Big Brother 22 is set to kick off in the summer of 2020, which means Big Brother USA fans might have to wait all year for another season, because our usual winter Celebrity Big Brother USA has been removed from the press site, leading fans to speculate that it will not be returning for 2020. Additionally, Big Brother Over the Top was left in limbo, never to be mentioned again. However, there is still a chance of some winter version of Big Brother appearing in January. We will have to wait and see.

The next summer of Big Brother will have major competition with the 2020 Summer Olympics, so CBS will need to go big to compete with the massive giant of the Olympics.
