Big Brother Spoilers: Power of Veto Meeting Results – Week 2

The majority Eight Pack alliance, along with their ally and Head of Household Paulie Calafiore, has been working secretly on a backdoor eviction plan all week long. While there has been some waffling back and forth about whether or not the target for eviction is the right person to get out next, so far the plan still seemed to be holding firm before the Power of Veto Ceremony took place today. Nothing is set in stone, however, until those final nominations are announced.

Usually the Big Brother Power of Veto Meetings happen on Mondays in the house, and we learn what happened afterwards on the Live Feeds. We honestly were expecting the schedule to be a bit different his week, however, because of the 4th of July holiday happening on Monday. We thought it would take place on Sunday night or possibly on Tuesday morning. However, this year it seems like Big Brother didn’t give a hoot about the holiday, and went ahead with the regular schedule for the meeting.

Before the Veto Ceremony, we were watching the Feeds closely to see if there might be any last minute changes in plans from Head of Household Paulie Calafiore. His intention this week, backed by the Eight Pack alliance, has been to backdoor Victor Arroyo and send him out the door on Thursday night. However, there has been some back and forth about whether or not this is the best plan.

Right before the meeting though, it still seemed pretty solid that Power of Veto winner Paulie would use the Veto to take Paul from the block and put up Victor in his place. Paulie pretty much guaranteed this to Paul, who then totally lied to Victor and told him he thought Paulie would take down Bronte if he used the Power of Veto at all. Victor, however, seemed to be totally clueless that he is actually Paulie’s primary target, and thought Bronte was actually the one most in danger of eviction this week.

Well, Victor was in for a bit of a shock when the Power of Veto Meeting finally went down on Monday. Head of Household and Power of Veto winner Paulie did indeed decide to take Paul off the block and put up Victor as the replacement. If all continues to go according to plan, Victor is very likely headed out the door on Thursday night as the first backdoor eviction of the season.
