Big Brother Spoilers: Veto Meeting Results – Week 8

The Big Brother 18 spoilers are in from the Veto Meeting on Monday inside the house, and really, we weren’t expecting there to be any big surprises. Once the Power of Veto Competition was over on Saturday, it was pretty clear how the Veto Ceremony would go down.

This week’s Power of Veto was one of the most fun competitions of the season with Zingbot making an appearance to oversee the ‘prize swap’ challenge we love watching every year. Unfortunately, one houseguest came out of it with such a sour attitude, it kind of sucked a lot of the fun of the whole prizes and punishments competition aftermath right out of the house. Well, at least for the other houseguests. Live Feeds viewers have actually been loving on the drama bigtime!

The sore loser of the week was recently deposed house manipulator and eviction nominee Paulie Calafiore. Apparently he had his hands on the Power of Veto at some point during the competition (which we’ll get to watch on the CBS TV show on Wednesday night), but lost it. Instead, it ended up being Head of Household Victor Arroyo who won the PoV.

This resulted in a very sulky Paulie going into a total emotional meltdown, saying he would leave Jury house if he was evicted, and even refusing to do his Veto Competition punishment and getting yelled at repeatedly by Big Brother.

Despite massive begging and campaigning to Victor ever since the competition, Paulie got absolutely nowhere with trying to convince his former ally to save him from the block. A very emotional, weepy, whiny, and foul-mouthed Paulie did everything he could to get Victor to save either him, or at least take down Corey so he could campaign against someone else in the house. Victor repeatedly, and firmly, said absolutely not.

So when the Live Feeds went down for the Veto Meeting on Monday, it was clear Victor would not be using the Power of Veto, and Paulie would stay up on the block against Corey. There seems very little chance in hell that Paulie will somehow avoid being evicted on Thursday. However, we’ll still have to wait and see if he has the Round Trip ticket to get back in the house, or what may happen in the special Friday episode that might give him or someone else yet another chance to return to the game.
