CBS Big Brother 14 Cast Will Include 4 of the Most Successful Vets of All-Time
July 5, 2012 |In addition to the official CBS Big Brother 14 cast announcement of the 12 new players coming into the Big Brother 14 house this year, the network also issued a statement that four veteran players would also be included in the houseguests this year, but did not reveal their names.

The Big Brother 14 mentors rumor has been going around for ages and now it has been officially confirmed by CBS that four returning players will be joining the Big Brother 14 cast. They will not be returning as regular players, as the rumors indicated, but rather playing their ‘own game’ in the house. (Rumors going around point to Janelle Pierzina, Mike “Boogie” Malin, Dan Gheesling and Rachel Reilly as the returning players — but Rachel may have been replaced.)
Here is the official press release on the new CBS Big Brother 14 cast and returning houseguests:

This season, the Houseguests will enjoy bright colors in the BIG BROTHER house which is styled in urban pop culture décor. The contemporary living room features three-dimensional, white “wave wall” covers, which are accented with rainbow-colored, custom designed wall paper and a 12-foot tall abstract sculpture composed of steel, plexiglass and light. The kitchen’s white, open cabinets showcase pops of bright colors inside.
The Houseguests will have an opportunity to slumber in the Kicks Bedroom, featuring a wall of sneakers; the Sonic Flow Room, which is decorated with various headphones, a boom box and headphone shaped beds; or relax in the bird themed bedroom. Other highlights from this season’s BIG BROTHER house include the Arcade Room; a Zen garden-inspired backyard; an “every city” skyline along the upstairs wall; and an oversized chess game.
Following the premiere on Thursday, July 12 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT), BIG BROTHER will be broadcast three nights weekly, beginning Sunday, July 15 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT), Wednesday, July 18 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) and the LIVE eviction show, hosted by Julie Chen, beginning Thursday, July 19 (9:00-10:00 PM, live ET/delayed PT).
BIG BROTHER follows a group of people living together in a house outfitted with 53 cameras and 98 microphones recording their every move, 24 hours a day. Each week, the Houseguests will vote someone out of the house. At the end, the last remaining House Guest will receive the grand prize of $500,000.
BIG BROTHER is executive produced by Emmy Award-winning producer Allison Grodner and Rich Meehan for Fly on the Wall Entertainment, in association with Endemol U.S.A.

A separate prize? Sounds good to me. This way, the producers won’t be tempted to rig the show for the returning players.
Rumor has it that the “special prize” will be 100K…to the Mentor who has the BB Winner on their team…☺…
I’m so so so excited its finally Big Brother time again. This should be a great season. Evil Dick should be one of the mentors (who’s better than him if ask?)I just have to say we get 2 Surviors and 2 Amazing Race each year, why only 1 Big Brother. What’s up with that?
Big Brother 9 is why we only get one a year.
If u are a Live Feeder…then BB9 was the Best BB EVER…that season they had the MOST Nudity and the MOST Sex EVER in the History of BB…and if u had the Live Feeds, u would know…☺…
@HOH8 That is not what makes a good Big Brother season. The concept twist for that season was not very well thought out, in the beginning of the season we saw people evicted based solely on their partners’ actions. (i.e. Amanda/Alex) Also, that was the season that Shanon got the shaft in final 4. That’s what makes this season a bad one for me. Nudity and sex is not why I watch the shows.
Well said Nick. BB9 was just unplanned and the game just went as time went on. Not to mention horrible people and a horrible winner. No one was really there to matchmake, they just showed off things. :/
16 people again this year will seem to be extremely promising, this time around though!
Dani Donato should be a Mentor – that’s what she did last season on BB- she mentored as she played! … PLEASE do Not have nasty Rachel, Brandon, ego Jeff or dumb Jordan on again. CBS cheated last year to allow Rachel to be on. – ALSO, aysar and Jase Wirey should be back on BB.
Jordan isnt dumb hater
Yes, she is. I love her, but she isn’t very smart.
PLEASE PLEASE, NO whinny Rachel and Brandon as “returners”. My family can’t watch them on any reality show ever again! We will not watch if they are on again and that would be hard since this is our favorite show ever!
I just like the valuable info you supply on your articles. I will bookmark your blog and check again here regularly. I’m quite sure I’ll be informed lots of new stuff right here! Good luck for the following!
Undeniably consider that which you said. Your favourite justification appeared to be at the web the simplest thing to understand of. I say to you, I certainly get annoyed at the same time as other folks think about concerns that they just don’t recognise about. You managed to hit the nail upon the top as neatly as outlined out the whole thing with no need side-effects , other people can take a signal. Will likely be again to get more. Thanks
