Matt’s Episode Commentary: Episode 3
Brian First HG Evicted; Jessie New HOH

Another great episode of BB10 tonight! I’m loving this season big time. Bringing back the studio audience was a great idea if you ask me. It was really nice and refreshing to see some BB fans in the audience and it defineitly added some energy to the show. There’s no denying that. I hope they continue with this in future seasons.
In the video packages before the Houseguest’s voted LIVE a lot went down. Brian was definietly shocked that Jerry nominated him. He wasn’t happy with Jerry at all, which is no surprise. But he knew what he was doing when he went around the house making alliances with everybody. His arrogance was insane and he got what he deserved. He came on WAY to strong WAY to fast. He could’ve been a great player too, he had a lot of potential but he runined it.
Brian wanted to know who the ring leader was in getting him nominated. Jerry told him that Dan and Steven had nothing to do with it and that Ollie, his other alliance member, was the ring leader and had sold him out. Dan and Brian confronted Ollie about this and he told them that the girls backed him into a corner and that he had no other choice. He kinda just walked away from the conversation.
Brian’s campianing to stay involved him trying to make everyone laugh and have fun so that they would want to keep him around. Although his chances of staying were slim, I will give him credit for trying and not just rolling over and dieing like we’ve seen from a few houseguests in the past. He and Angie put on that little puppet show of the eviction ceremony. You gotta admit, it was kinda funny.
Angie and Steven decided that they wanted to keep Brian. Brian needed five votes this week to create a tie and then Jerry would have to break it and six votes to stay for sure. They wanted to bring Memphis in on their plan as well. Angie tried talking Keesha into keeping Brian and it appeared as though she agreed. April was in the kitch and overheard this and she was not happy. She felt as though Keesha was betraying her.
Outside in the backyard things got heated when Keesha overheard April talking about what had happened to some of the other houseguests. Ollie took April, who was very upset, inside and Keesha stayed outside. Keesha was very upset about everything. I think they can patch this up though and I hope that they do. Keesha, Libra, April, and possibly Ollie could make a very strong alliance.
Julie had her weekly chat with the HOH and then it was finally time for the LIVE voting to begin. The houseguests went into the diary room and voted for which houseguest they wanted to evict, Renny or Brian. Shockingly to me, all of the houseguests, except Dan, voted to evict Brian. The people that said they wanted to keep Brian probably just didn’t want to go against the rest of the house and have people mad at them and that’s why they voted the way they did. But who cares, I was very happy when Brian was evicted. That’s what happens when you get too cocky.
Julie interviewd Brian and then it was time for the LIVE HOH challenge. For the compeition each houseguest was in an individual booth and they had to answer the questions not on how they personally would answer them but how they think the rest of the group would answer them. Jessie won, and is the new Head Of Household! I’m happy with this, and I can’t wait to see what he does. I wonder if he’ll nominate Renny, even though she’s not a threat? He didn’t vote to evict her so maybe he’s over that little trist they had last week. I sure hope so.
Tune in Sunday at 8/7c to see who Jessie nominates for eviction!

nice article matt
I thought the show was pretty good overall. To me they still need to do something to break it up. I know what’s coming and it’s getting boring and redundant. But people don’t like change and I can see where the producers are coming from.
The audience was kind of useless. They were probably under strict instructions not to clap when the houseguests were on camera.. cause then they’d know who is liked and who isn’t.
If they are going to be there - involve them. Just don’t have them there to be a “laughing track” when needed.
