Matt’s Episode Commentary: Episode 16

RENNY NOMINATED APRIL & JERRY FOR EVICTION
Well, last Sunday was another exciting episode of Big Brother.
We saw Libra get evicted again and the aftermath of that. April mentioned that the reason she didn’t vote to evict Keesha was because she wasn’t sure that she had the votes. Also, Libra didn’t hug Michelle on her way out the door. No shocker there. Then when all of the houseguest’s were standing by the memory wall waiting for Libra’s picture to turn black and white and Renny made a comment about her picture being the only colored one on the left side. She said she didn’t like it and it stands out. Which it does.
Then we saw Renny win the HOH compeition again. I was really excited that Renny won. I love Renny and I think she’s hysterical. Keesha was really excited for obvious reasons and she mentioned with Renny up in the HOH there would be no one on her bedroom. April said in the diary room that she knew that she would be going up. Not long after she won HOH, Renny started to worry about the Keesha/Memphis relationship. I think she’s worried that Keesha will just drop her in favor of Memphis.
April thought that Renny would target Jerry and she wanted to talk to him about that. April wanted to be nominated against Jerry which in all reality is probably her only hope to at least having a fighting chance to stay in the game. Renny then questioned Keesha about Memphis and she told Keesha that Memphis is a threat. After this conversation Keesha began to worry about who Renny would nominate as she didn’t want Memphis to be on the block.
Next, Renny got her HOH room. She cried over her pictures and read her letter aloud to all of the houseguest’s. I love Renny. Okay, who else thought the whole segment with April’s stuffed dog Holly was halarious! All of the houseguests kicking and throwing her around. It was so funny. Then we saw Ollie and April talking about their relationship once the show’s over and I said to myself yeah right. I highly doubt that they’ll stay together after the show’s over because nobody else has.

Season 10: Episode 15: One Less Girl who Fights as One Woman is Evicted, Another HOH is Crowned
The reaction to Jerry calling Dan a “Judas” during the Veto ceremony is swift. Libra feels Jerry didn’t get the memo about the show, since deception is the name of the game. “This is not the Marines,” Libra says. “This is the BIG BROTHER house.” Renny thinks the Colonel’s statement “made him look kind of worse than Dan actually.” After the Veto ceremony, Dan gets up and says someone may think he sold someone else out, but that “is not the case.” Libra comes to Dan’s defense and reminds everyone “it’s just a game, y’all.”
Up in the HoH Suite Michelle and Memphis also talk about Jerry’s speech. Michelle didn’t like the fact that Jerry almost used the Veto. Memphis-no fan of Jerry to begin with-notes, “It’s one more thing that slipped out his fat mouth…thank God it wasn’t me he was talking about-I would have flipped out on him.” Michelle thinks Jerry put a huge target on his own back.
In the Sauna room, Libra apologizes to Dan for what Jerry said. Later, a seemingly depressed Dan says, “I don’t know if things in this could…get any better for me!” Dan shakes off the sadness he has been faking and jumps up and down as he proclaims, “It’s created so much sympathy for me I can’t even contain it!”
It’s clear who is going home-or is it?
In the Spa, Libra informs Keesha it is clear who is going home. “You’re not going to get evicted,” Libra tells her. “I could bet my last dollar on it.” Keesha isn’t so sure. “That’s what Jessie thought too,” Keesha shoots back.
Keesha’s fears may not be unfounded. Outside on the patio, April tells Ollie she cannot trust Keesha, since she was as much behind Jessie’s eviction as Libra was. “It makes me nauseous just to look at the bitch,” April hisses, before adding that Keesha doesn’t like her since she is prettier! Ollie agrees with his house main squeeze.

Season 10: Episode 12: America’s Player is the Deciding Vote in this Week’s Eviction
As long as April wants Memphis out of the house, “everything should be a pretty smooth ride,” Jessie says. “I’m not going anywhere.” April is happy that Veto holder Jerry honored her wishes to keep her nominations the same, and reaffirms her desire to see Memphis go home this week. “He’s a huge threat to me,” she says. Memphis sees the changing house landscape. “There is no alliance anymore,” he says. “It’s time to start from square one again.” Luckily for Memphis, his house ally, Keesha, is not happy that he has been targeted by April. In the Hippie Bedroom, Keesha tells Libra she hopes April changes her mind about the HouseGuest she wants to send home. Both of them think Jessie is coming after them if he stays in the house.
They decide they need to “shake April” and let her know that at least two people in their alliance are about to be gone. April walks into the room! Libra and Keesha broach the subject of who should go home this week, but April keeps repeating Memphis is the one to go this week. “I don’t like April,” Keesha says later. “I try very hard to like her but I can’t.” Libra points out to April that voting Memphis out may be good for April’s game, but that’s not the case for her and Keesha.

Season 10: Episode 10: April Wins the HoH Endurance Competition, Promises are Made When it Comes to Eviction Nominations
So Who Will Hang the Longest?
The goal of this week’s HoH competition is simple. The last person standing on the ledge along the side of the “building” wins the title of Head of Household. Ollie admits he is “terrified” since he’s no fan of heights. Ollie keeps his humor about him, though, when he tells Jessie to take his shirt off (as he did during the real earthquake!). Jessie tells him that is “real funny” before asking Renny who she will put up if she wins. When Renny says she hasn’t thought about it, Jessie wonders if things are good between them. Renny says yes, but admits later she was just telling Jessie what he wanted to hear. “I just wanted to see him fall, actually,” she says with a devious laugh!
As the building shakes, Jessie cracks that this will separate the “men from the boys” and informs them all the tilt is putting strain on different muscles. Jessie’s talking reminds Libra she wanted to get rid of him this week, but she swallowed her desire and voted out Angie, which was then-HoH Keesha’s choice for eviction. Keesha is happy the HouseGuests kept their word to vote Angie out, while Michelle is sad her friend is gone. Dan is just happy that he is going with the flow, since that will help him now that he is America’s Player.
But no one can remain on the wall forever. Jerry is the first one to drop off the wall. “I’m sorry, guys,” Jerry says as he falls to the safety mat below. Libra struggles, but April convinces her to hold on a little bit longer. Well, not that long. Libra drops like a rock soon after.
