‘Big Brother’: Hart Just Isn’t In It
Brian Hart was way too arrogant, way too early, and he paid for it by becoming the first to get booted from ‘Big Brother 10′
ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: Let’s clear something up first. You have watched this show before, right?
BRIAN HART: I watched season 7.
You obviously behaved a little too arrogantly a little too soon. Were you caught up in the whole idea of being on this show?
When I went in, I was really expecting to see some sort of opposition grow. I built an army with no one to fight! In season 7, everybody walked in and went at it. It was game on. A lot of my personality is the same way. But everybody wanted to sit around and see what happens. I packed three weeks of game play into seven days.
It appears that Libra was the first one to detect your influence in the house. Did you suspect that she’d be the one to call you out?
Later on in the week I did. At first, I wasn’t too sure about her. During the nomination process, I saw her cry. But I realized later in the week that once she saw someone else trying to make moves, her true personality came out. Mamma wants to do this and Mamma wants to tell everybody that! She didn’t like the fact I was having people do things that I wanted.
Why did you align with Dan and Ollie so quickly?
At first, there was something about Ollie that I was attracted to: he immediately had a connection to April, which would have been beneficial to me later on. And Dan was someone you knew you could trust. He was there as a Catholic school teacher with a girl back home who was wary about his actions. He could be a very great asset.
What were your first thoughts about Jerry? Did you think his age made him an easy target to manipulate?
I didn’t know I could manipulate him because old guys are so set in their ways. When I first knew how easy he would be to manipulate was when I requested that he not nominate Dan and Ollie and that he nominate who I would nominate. But I was completely fooled by his whole Marine Corps, swearing-to-tell-the-truth thing. I thought there was no way an old guy who went to war overseas was going to go against his word.
How long do you think he’ll last?
A while, though everybody wants to win the money while Jerry just wants to be there one or two weeks. He says that he’s having so much fun and he just wants to make it to the jury house. It’s very apparent he’s just there for the experience.
NEXT: ”My strategy was to spend as much time with Memphis as I possibly could.”

Matt’s Episode Commentary: Episode 3
Brian First HG Evicted; Jessie New HOH

Another great episode of BB10 tonight! I’m loving this season big time. Bringing back the studio audience was a great idea if you ask me. It was really nice and refreshing to see some BB fans in the audience and it defineitly added some energy to the show. There’s no denying that. I hope they continue with this in future seasons.
In the video packages before the Houseguest’s voted LIVE a lot went down. Brian was definietly shocked that Jerry nominated him. He wasn’t happy with Jerry at all, which is no surprise. But he knew what he was doing when he went around the house making alliances with everybody. His arrogance was insane and he got what he deserved. He came on WAY to strong WAY to fast. He could’ve been a great player too, he had a lot of potential but he runined it.
Brian wanted to know who the ring leader was in getting him nominated. Jerry told him that Dan and Steven had nothing to do with it and that Ollie, his other alliance member, was the ring leader and had sold him out. Dan and Brian confronted Ollie about this and he told them that the girls backed him into a corner and that he had no other choice. He kinda just walked away from the conversation.
(SPOILER) Eviction #1 & HOH

Someone got evicted, someone became Head of Household. But who? You wanna know who! Find out now!!
A Veto Win Changes Up Jerry’s Nominations
A Player Gets Played in the First Big Strategic Move of the Season!
In the standard post-nomination ceremony hug, Head of Household Jerry tells eviction nominee Jessie to “work it out with the people” if he wants to stay another week. Even though Jerry has nominated Jessie and Renny because the nominees got into a conflict the night before, telecom sales guy and aspiring house puppet master, Brian, thinks the nominations “were 100 percent” his idea. Brian also thinks he’s got Jerry under control. For his part, Jerry thinks he is in an alliance with Brian and the two of them will be loyal to the end. Renny tries to talk to Jessie about why they were both nominated, but he decides to focus on making himself a protein shake. Later Renny calls Jessie a “punk boy” who hasn’t gotten his “whistle wet in life.”
Next time lead with the one about Adam and Eve
Jerry tries to explain to Jessie and Michelle that he was in a tough position as HoH, and compares the decision he has to make with the Biblical story of King Solomon, who proposed as a test that two mothers physically split a baby they both claimed as theirs. Jessie rolls his eyes at Michelle as Jerry tells the story. Jessie is not impressed, and says later Jerry was talking “about Sam, or Samuel, or something about a baby getting ripped apart in half…I guess.”
And for fun, the new Big Brother 10 opening (finally!)
Matt’s Episode Commentary: Episode 2
Jessie Wins POV; Brian Nominated

Wow, last night’s episode was AMAZING! I really got into it. These people are defineitly playing the game.
The show started out right after the nomination ceremony. As soon as it concluded there was conflict between Jessie and Renny again because they both blamed each other for being nominated. Jessie ran up to the HOH to explain himself to Jerry and Renny stayed downstairs. She was very upset and talked to some of the other houseguest’s about the situation. She wasn’t happy that he went up to see Jerry.
When Jessie came downstairs she told him that he was very immature for walking away from her and that he had a lot of growing up to do. I do think that he made WAY to big of a deal about Renny accidentally waking him up the other night. It was a really stupid thing to get that upset over.
Eviction Today!

Eviction day is here! Tonight at 8/7c the houseguest’s will vote to evict either Renny or Brian!
Whoever is evicted will be the first houseguest evicted from Big Brother 10! Also, find out who will be the next Head Of Household, LIVE!
Also, since tonight is eviction night there will be a LIVE studio audience for the first time since BB1 (excluding the finales)! So it’s defienitly a show worth tuning in for.

BB10 First Impressions
First Impressions
I can tell you right now I dig Jerry’s Midwest attitude and think he will be likable all around and go far, but will not win due to age and comps.
Keesha is a friend, unknowingly on the show until recently contacted. She is a blast, and I think she will blend well, just dont really know her game play all that well or how she’d hold up in comps I guess we will see, but im rooting her on!
I think renny is a headcase, but then again our season had one or two and so did 9 so go figure. Im eagerly waiting to watch her, as she makes me laugh alot.
Why the gay rodeo cowboy could’nt announce his gayness, i dont get it… Like that is some secret tactic, cmon guys!!!
thats all i have right now, but for a first episode thats what i gathered.
