By: on July 29, 2011 |

The Newbs once again failed to grab the power, but instead they got the next best thing: a veteran player on their side. This week the nominations for eviction are exciting for putting some action back in the game, but probably not terribly surprising. Meanwhile, if you just can’t wait to know who has been nominated for the next eviction, just click underneath the SPOILER ALERT below to find out!

[spoiler name=”Week 4 Nomination Results”]

If you have been following the Big Brother live feeds, you probably already guessed who Daniele as the new Head of Household would be putting up for nomination for week 4. That’s right. Rachel and Brendon have been nominated for eviction. Even if they can pull out a Veto win, things are look pretty set for Brenchel to be split up for the rest of the summer.

The Power of Veto competition will take place Saturday and there’s a lot of pressure on Daniele to keep her nominations the same or risk upsetting yet another HG.

Big Brother 13 Episode 9: Wednesday Night Recap

By: on July 28, 2011 |

WARNING: Reviews and recaps on may inherently contain SPOILERS you may not want to read! Please beware!

Last night’s episode of Big Brother 13 on CBS started off with Dominic believing that he is still safe despite being up on the eviction block with duo partner Adam. Adam, meanwhile, is also confident he is safe from elimination due to his wheeling and dealing with Brendon and Rachel.

Dominic believes his deal with Brendon and Rachel to keep him safe will keep him from being eliminated. He is also confident he has Daniele on his side as well. So he’s hopeful he is just the pawn. Adam, meanwhile, is really hoping Brendon and Rachel aren’t going to turn around and burn him. Jeff is just glad Rachel didn’t give in to her vindictive side after the nasty fight she had with him and nominate him and Jordan.

Adam and Dominic get together in the Have Not room to chat about the Power of Veto Competition. Adam tells Dominic he doesn’t have any pull with Jeff and Jordan to effect the game if they get picked. They discuss whether they might both be pawns and Rachel is planning to backdoor someone. Sneaky Rachel, btw, is outside the door trying to listen in. Finally, she goes in and tells them if they want to talk deals, she’s ready to listen. Adam and Dominic tell her they want to play for Power of Veto before they talk deals. Dominic gets pissy in the Diary Room asking what happened to the deal with Rachel he already had?

Big Brother 13 Houseguest Profile: Jordan Lloyd

By: on July 27, 2011 |

Jordan Lloyd and boyfriend Jeff Schroeder were strangers when they first met on the set of Big Brother 11. The two quickly hit it off, however, and went on to become perhaps the most powerful alliance in the Big Brother 11 house. Jordan went on to win the $500,000 prize for Big Brother 11, while Jeff was evicted, but still won $25,000 as America’s Favorite Player that season. Cast as one of the returning ‘duos’ from past seasons on Big Brother 13, Jeff and Jordan are once again proving to be formidable players.

Before Big Brother 11, Jordan Lloyd, a graduate of David W Butler High School, was working as a waitress in Charlotte, North Carolina when she was recruited by CBS casting agents. Jordan said at the time that her motto was to “live life to the fullest, without holding back.” She also stated unequivocally that she would not be having sex on Big Brother‘s live feed cameras because her grandpa would be watching the show.

!SPOILER ALERT! – Big Brother 13 Week 3 Power of Veto Ceremony Results

By: on July 25, 2011 |

The Big Brother 13 Power of Veto Ceremony for Week 3 is over and done with at last. Considering the drama that has been going on in the house about who would be put up on the block next, we can’t wait to watch the fallout from the POV Ceremony on the Big Brother live feeds.

If you want to know what happened in the week 3 Power of Veto Ceremony, just click underneath our Spoiler Alert below!

[spoiler name=”Week 3 Power of Veto Ceremony Results”]

The veterans alliance is now on shaky ground as Daniele attempted to play her alliance members to keep boy toy (and future hopeful pawn) Dominic in the house. She tried pushing Brendon and Rachel to put Jordan and Jeff up for eviction, directly trying to undermine her own alliance. Dominic, meanwhile, was trying to get in with Brenchel too, offering to be their butt boy if he is kept safe this week.

On Saturday morning, Brendon & Rachel and Jeff & Jordan got together to compare notes. Rachel and Brendon tells their fellow alliance members that Daniele has been trying to throw them under the buss and get Jeff sent home. Now the rest of the vets get that they can’t trust Daniele one little bit.

Daniele actually loses her temper with Brenchel on Sunday, still trying to get them to come around to her side and put up Jeff and Jordan. She threatened Rachel and even tried to convince her that getting friendly with Dominic was all Rachel’s idea in the first place.

Unfortunately for Daniele, all the vets are now ranged against her. They plan to get rid of Dominic so Daniele will be left alone and without anyone to support her.

At the Power of Veto Ceremony, POV winner Brendon decides — as expected — not to use it. Rachel’s nominations of Adam and Dominic stay in place. Considering what’s been going on in the house around Dominic and Daniele, it seems a given that Dominic will probably be heading home. So far, Adam has played it relatively smart. He got in with the vets early on. He hasn’t done anything threatening toward them or bad mouthed them. And he’s keeping his head down. Smart.

Dominic, on the other hand, has dug himself into his own hole and Daniele has just piled the dirt right on top of him.
