!SPOILER ALERT! – Big Brother 13 Week 3 Nominations

By: on July 23, 2011 |

The veterans continue to hold on to the power in the house for yet another week as the newbies nervously watch their number dwindling down. This week the nominations for eviction are packed full of intrigue from both sides. Who will win out in the battle of the noobs against the vets? Well, it may all come down to who wins the Power of Veto Competition this week. Meanwhile, if you just can’t wait to know who has been nominated for the next eviction, just click underneath the SPOILER ALERT below to find out!
If you have been following the Big Brother live feeds, you probably already guessed who Rachel as the new Head of Household would be putting up for nomination for week 3. There is no way Rachel and Brendon would put up Jeff and Jordan at this point because they obviously are aware that would be seriously stupid. Everyone else in the house would be more than pleased to buddy up with J&J to get Brenchel out of the house. Putting up Lawon and Kalia at this point just doesn’t do anyone much good as both of them are pretty much floating around doing little to nothing. Dominic and Adam are the real threats to the veteran’s alliance and Rachel really has no choice but to put them up.

Daniele has been campaigning hard to keep her boy toy Dominic in the game. She promises Brenchel that he will not come after them and that she can get him to throw the Veto Competition. Rachel and Brendon, however, seem to trust Dominic even less than they do Adam. So for the time being, it is still a bit of a toss up as to whether Adam or Dominic will be getting the short end of the stick if one of them doesn’t win the Power of Veto. If Daniele has her way, Adam will get booted. But Adam has been wheeling and dealing with the veterans for a while and he could pull enough weight with them to get Dominic evicted if he can play it just right.

The Power of Veto competition should take place Saturday or Sunday. If Dominic or Adam manage to swing the Power of Veto once again, this could truly end up being some fun. If one of them does get it, he will have to decide whether or not he trusts his dealings with the veterans enough to stay on the block and hopefully see their partner get eliminated. If neither of them gets it, then it will be all up to the wheeling and dealing in the house as to which one of them will get sent packing. Should be fun!

Big Brother 13 Episode 7: Thursday Night Recap

By: on July 22, 2011 |

WARNING: Reviews and recaps on may inherently contain SPOILERS you may not want to read! Please beware!

Thursday night’s episode of Big Brother 13 on CBS has definitely pissed off more than a few fans who just can’t believe what’s been going on inside the house so far this year.

Host Julie Chen tells us at the opening of Thursday night’s episode that it’s day 20 in the Big Brother 13 house, but for some it is starting too feel too much like they are watching reruns of a previous season. With the veteran alliance still holding together (for now), it seems like the newbies to the Big Brother game are just waiting to be picked off one by one.

Even though the veterans are still holding it together, there is definitely a lot of animosity going on. Jordan, of course, initially defied her alliance with Brendon, Rachel & Daniele to nominate Dominic & Adam first. When Dominic won the Power of Veto and took himself and Adam off the block, Jordan felt she had no choice but to put up Cassi and Shelly. But she is not happy about it and says they are the last people she wanted to put up.

Then, of course, we had the nasty fight between Jeff and Rachel over a snarky comment she made about Jordan during the Veto Competition. The vets may still be sticking together right now, but I just can’t WAIT until the backstabbing and back-dooring among the vets ensues. I hope Jordan and Jeff are going to eat Rachel alive!
RACHEL is the new Head of Household
Coming up on Big Brother 13 – a special celebrity will make an appearance inside the Big Brother house. Here’s me thinking that “celebrity” is a past houseguest. Or maybe someone like Debra Messing who is a fan of the show. That will happen Sunday.

Also coming up next Thursday a “change in the game” will happen. Guess we’re going to singles now?

Big Brother 13 Episode 6: Wednesday Night Recap

By: on July 21, 2011 |

Wednesday night’s episode of Big Brother 13 on CBS launches right after Jordan has nominated Adam and Dominic for eviction in the previous episode. Going into the Diary Room, Adam says he has trusted Jeff and Jordan because it’s all he’s got right now and he hopes they won’t stab him in the back.

Well, that’s half the fun of Big Brother — wondering who is going to betray your trust and when they are going to do it!

Dominic, meanwhile, is convinced he absolutely must win the Power of Veto to keep himself safe, despite being all buddy-buddy with veteran Daniele. Duh! Without the Power of Veto, you are never safe in the Big Brother house if you are on the block, no matter what kind of deals you think you have going.

With Adam in the veteran’s alliance back pocket, Dominic could be royally screwed without that Power of Veto this week. Dominic suspects Adam has ‘stabbed him in the back’ and calls him a traitor.
