So when we reported that Big Brother would premiere Wednesday, July 6th .. that was a lie. But you can blame our hostess with the mostess, Julie Chen, for that one. What she ACTUALLY meant was Big Brother 13 is to premiere Thursday, July 7th at 9PM/EST on CBS.

Today CBS officially confirmed that Big Brother 13 will be broadcast Wednesdays, Thursdays (Eviction Night) and Sunday’s – which we reported a couple of days ago (not to toot our own horn or anything)

Big Brother Access can confirm that Big Brother 13 will be back airing 3 nights a week this summer. Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sunday’s are when you’ll be able to catch all the hijinks inside the house. The official announcement should come soon.

Update: CBS changed their minds after the first announcement. Big Brother 13 will now premiere one day later.

Thanks to Julie Chen over at CBS we now know the Big Brother 13 premiere is set for July 6th 7th. That’s a Wednesday Thursday, for the calendar-challenged amongst us.

No other official details released, but the BB13 casting continues for a few more weeks through early May. After that we should hear from the casting director in late May that they’ve finalized their picks. Then in late June, early July we’ll get a house tour and a first look at the Big Brother 13 Houseguests.

Still a few more months to go, but we’re getting close, really close!

You can’t have Big Brother without casting events so it’s no surprise that audition events are springing up all over the country during April and May as CBS prepares for Big Brother 13.

Summer is never far away and with it comes Big Brother 13, but before we can get there we’ll need casting and audition events! Think you’ve got what it takes? Then get ready to prove it!

Robyn Kass of Kassting Inc, the casting geniuses behind Big Brother, has confirmed that once again this year the audition events will be taking place in March and April with final cuts made in May.

Hopefully that means we’ll have word soon on the when and where to expect casting calls for your chance to be on the show. Once we hear the details announced we’ll post everything right here on BBA.
