The Power of Veto Competition players for week three were Vanessa as Head of Household, James and John as eviction nominees, and randomly drawn Audrey (by James), Shelli (by Vanessa), and Austin (by John – Houseguest’s choice).
Austin and Vanessa have been working together since they both won Head of Household, including making sure the Battle of the Block was stacked so James would stay on the block as their primary target. Their hope was that James would not win the Power of Veto and that someone on their side of the house would.
With Audrey, Shelli, and Austin as the ‘chosen’ players, plus Vanessa and John with them, everything was against James at the Veto Competition. It was a five to one disadvantage and the only way he would be safe was to win that PoV. Unfortunately for him, things did not turn up roses.
Once again, John managed to score the Power of Veto, which means that once again he will take himself off the block. This means Vanessa will have to put up a Replacement Nominee of some sort, but the plan is currently still to take out James at the eviction.
Vanessa doesn’t want to put up Audrey, because she knows Audrey is too much of a target. Unless, of course, she changes her mind about backdooring her. Which could happen, because right now her plans to try to convince everyone that Audrey can be trusted is not going so well on the Big Brother Live Feeds.
