Yesterday, Big Brother and Jeff Schroeder teased Big Brother 21 fans about a big announcement. Per is our way, the fans had a field day with scenarios running in their heads. Would we be voting in a new player? Would we be voting in a returning player? Would we be voting in couples? Would this just be a mundane announcement? We had no clue what to expect but we were scared, confused, and excited to have any new news related to Big Brother 21, especially with all those rumors floating around.
We knew one thing for sure: Jeff announcing this big news could only mean that he would be returning to interview the new (or old) batch of contestants. Jeff interviewed contestants up until the end of Big Brother 19, then Big Brother tried a few different formats, one that involved an iPad and hosts Celebrity Big Brother winner Marissa Jaret Winokur and runner-up Ross Mathews.
We also assumed that Jeff could be simply announcing that he would be interviewing the Big Brother 21 houseguests next week, which would be on par with last year’s pre-season timeline. After a day of panic from the Big Brother fandom world, we finally have some answers.
Jeff announced:
That he was indeed back to conduct the interviews straight from the Diary Room. He also revealed that the new cast would be interviewed and released one week from today, Monday, June 17th at 11:am EST/9:00am PST.
So there you have it folks, we’ll officially meet the cast in one week. Expect us to have all the coverage that week, including bios, pictures, etc.
