The Power of Veto Competition this week was a huge deal for the new Head of Household, who is very aware of how large the target is currently painted on their back. Will the HoH be scrambling to figure out an alternate plan, or will they be sitting pretty once again after the results of the Power of Veto Competition? The Power of Veto Competition players were Frank Eudy as Head of Household, Dan Gheesling and Danielle Murphree as eviction nominees, Britney Haynes, Shane Meaney and Jenn Arroyo. Ian Terry hosts.
In a shocking turn of events (well, just shocking because I keep forgetting she exists), Jenn Arroyo has won the Power of Veto Competition.
Jenn tells Danielle that she has the votes to stay in the game. She does not appear to be planning to use the Power of Veto at this time.
The Power of Veto Competition this week also resulted in a number of other odd and interesting ‘prizes’. Frank Eudy ends up in a carrot suit and apparently cannot compete in the next two Head of Household competitions. Ouch! Frank was also apparently disqualified from the Power of Veto Competition for an accidental rule violation, but had to keep his punishment ‘prizes’.
Dan Gheesling ‘wins’ 24 hours in solitary confinement, Danielle and Britney are tied together for 24 hours, and Jenn ends up on slop for the whole rest of the season AND has to burn her clothes. Jenn City is not a happy woman.
As it stands now, Dan Gheesling is the most in danger of going home this week. His only real chance of safety is to convince Jenn to use her Power of Veto and Ian to use his special Veto Power to take him and Danielle off the block. Convincing either of them to take him off the block, or both of them to take him and Danielle off the block, however, is going to be a seriously difficult road.
