The time has come, the summer is almost over, and the 20th season of Big Brother is coming to an end. Now that we are down to just a few houseguests, the alliances in place are critical to the ending of the game. By now, any relationship not solidified during the last 90 days of the season is probably not going to do much for your end game. With our final alliance installment, let’s look back at the season and examine the remaining alliances going into the finale next week.
We have only 5 houseguests remaining in the Big Brother house including Angela Rummans, JC Moundiux, Kaycee Clark, Sam Bledsoe, and Tyler Crispen. Of those five remaining players, three are in an alliance together while the other two players have essentially floated their way to the top 5. Of course, those floaters would be JC and Sam, and the alliance is Level 6 consisting of Angela, Kaycee, and Tyler.
By far, Level 6 alliance has been the most successful of Big Brother 20. This alliance started just a couple of days into the season and has lasted to the end. The original 6 members of this alliance included the three members listed above and Winston Hines, Rachel Swindler, and the recently evicted Brett Robinson. During the season, they didn’t lose one member of their group that they didn’t intend to let go or evict themselves. Simply said, this has been a very, very successful alliance inside the Big Brother house.
There was one other main alliance during the season, and they originally started out with the name F.O.U.T.T.E. (Five Of Us To The End). Their members included Christopher “Swaggy C” Williams, Faysal Shafaat, Haleigh Broucher, Angie “Rockstar” Lantry and Bayleigh Dayton. Once Bayleigh started to take control of the group, the name changed to the Hive, but that didn’t help them perform any better inside the Big Brother house. This alliance had the right intentions from the start but just couldn’t execute their plans when the time came to do so. Level 6 set their sights on them, and then they took them out one-by-one until each and every member of the alliance was gone.
Interestingly, two of the five remaining houseguests were not in either of the previously described alliances. We are talking about JC and Sam, the floaters. JC has been working with Level 6 since the first alliance report I published in week 2 of the season. He was just never included in the group discussions or decisions. Instead, he was just lead along by his trusty comrade Tyler, who made sure JC always felt like he was the one pulling all the strings. JC has finally realized that he is not as tight with Tyler as he assumed all summer. JC is starting to panic, and well he should. JC has been living in a sort of fantasy world all summer, one where he could win Big Brother 20 by not winning a single competition.
That leaves us with Sam. Although Sam won a Head of Household competition back in the beginning of the season, Sam hasn’t done much since then, except drive the other houseguests a little crazy. As of late, her diabolical late night rants to the cameras have raised some serious eyebrows about her mental stability. Sam’s time in the house needs to come to an end soon, and very soon. Lucky for her, Head of Household Angela is planning to evict Sam during her reign of power this week, and Sam’s eviction couldn’t come soon enough, in my opinion.
Of all the houseguests left in the game, Tyler has made the most connections and deals with other players. Ironically, he has final two deals with every remaining houseguest except his showmance partner Angela. He even has final two deals with the floaters JC and Sam. Other than his final 2 deals and the remaining Level 6 alliance, that’s it, thats all of the deals inside the Big Brother 20 house.
As Level 6 picks off Sam this week and possibly JC soon thereafter, how will they handle being in the final three together? Before they get to that point will one of them smarten up and realize that JC needs to be taken to the final three as a floater? Or will they all take the high road and stick with the final plan of their alliance and fight it out in the end? We will find out soon enough as the season finale is next Wednesday evening at 8PM EST/ 7PM CST.
I always enjoy a good alliance in the Big Brother game that can make plans and stick to them. Level 6 has not disappointed this season. They have set their targets and delivered. As with all the seasons before this one, the winner will be decided by the jury members and how those remaining houseguests have made them feel. Don’t most jury’s vote with their hearts rather than with their brains? They certainly did last season when they crowned Josh Martinez the winner. How will Big Brother 20 end? Tune in to find out. Cheers.
