Another week has gone by in the Big Brother house, and the fifth live eviction will take place tonight! This summer is just zipping by us way too quickly thanks to all the blindsides and drama in the house. Rachel Swindler and Brett Robinson are on the block for live eviction tonight but which houseguest to depart still remains to be seen. In typical Big Brother fashion, we may have some shock and awe on our hands tonight if Level 6 can pull off another blindside at the tonight’s eviction.
Level 6 has been plotting to blindside the Hive (old F.O.U.T.T.E. alliance) all week. Queen Bay (Bayleigh Dayton) took charge as HOH earlier this week and hasn’t been so kind to her peasants. Her reign has been fraught with demands of loyalty under her dictatorship, and her attitude towards the houseguests has been downright pretentious. This may all come to blows tonight if Level 6 can pull off a blindside on Queen Bay by evicting Rachel over Brett whom the Hive assumes will be saying his goodbye’s.
Last Minute Game Decisions
Tonight’s eviction may be added to the list of another blindside vote for the 20th season of Big Brother. Each week it seems that we have some sort of surprise when it comes time for evictions. If there is a blindside this evening and Brett does not go home as planned by Queen Bay, the Big Brother universe will be on the edge of their seats awaiting the fallout and her reaction if and when Rachel walks out the door. Not only will Bayleigh lose what she considers an ally the house, but just wait until she finds out Rachel spilled the beans about her Power App reward and that it is no longer a secret…to anyone.
After Tyler decided not to use the golden Power of Veto, Queen Bay thinks she is sitting pretty and in total control of the Big Brother house. Rachel is falling apart at the seams which is only pushing her further and further away from her own allies. Angela even accuses her of playing a selfish game by causing chaos in their alliance.
Brett appeals to JC by reminding him that if he is evicted, there will only be 4 males left in the Big Brother house. That would be 7 females against 4 males. JC doesn’t like the sound of that and believes Brett has some very valid points going forward.
Like a wild fire, word has spread through the Big Brother house about Bayleigh’s Power App. Bayleigh made the egregious mistake of telling Rachel about the power, in confidence. That may have been one of the biggest mistakes thus far in this season of Big Brother. All of the Level 6 alliance is aware of the power and has now altered their game as a result.
For example, knowing about the power is what motivated Tyler to keep the nominations the same when he won the POV. He could have saved one of his alliance members from the block, but instead he was fearful of the consequences of upsetting Queen Bay. To make sure Bayleigh didn’t target him, he just went along with Bayleigh’s wishes.
Swaggy C Meets Queen Bay’s Family
In a surprise segment, Chris Swaggy C Williams traveled to meet his showmance partner’s family. Although nervous about the trip, Swaggy was very respectful and courteous to Bayleigh’s family. In fact, he revealed that meeting them made him feel like part of the family and made him love Bayleigh even more. Before leaving, the family plus Swaggy, watched an episode of Big Brother together and got to see Bayleigh win HOH. Good times.
Week 5 Live Eviction Votes
During his pre-eviction speech, Brett dropped a bombshell on the houseguests. He gave up Bayleigh’s Power App and let it be known that Rachel was the one that originally knew. In addition, he called out the all-girls alliance, the Man-eaters. What Brett didn’t get right was that alliance is all but defunct at this point in the game. However, he certainly managed to draw a bunch of attention to his plea to stay in the Big Brother house this week and drop some jaws at the same time. Let’s see if his speech effects the vote tonight.
Angela Rummans Votes to Evict Rachel
Angie “Rockstar” Lantry Votes to Evict Brett
Faysal Shaafat Votes to Evict Brett
Haleigh Broucher Votes to Evict Brett
JC Moundiux Votes to Evict Rachel
Kaycee Clark Votes to Evict Rachel
Sam Bledsoe Votes to Evict Rachel
Scottie Walton Votes to Evict Brett
Tyler Crispen Votes to Evict Rachel
With a vote of 5 to 4, Rachel is evicted from the Big Brother house. And yet another blindside in the Big Brother house. Rachel grabbed her bag and stormed out of the house. While talking to Julie Chen, Rachel admits she was completely blindsided. She is so confused and has no idea who to blame. She was clearly loyal to a fault!
Head of Household Competition
The power is up for grabs. This competition is called the “GIF That Keeps on Giving”. Julie will ask the houseguests questions pertaining to gifs that have ben playing on the memory wall during the last 24 hours. The houseguests with the most correctly answered true or false questions after 7 rounds wins the HOH this week.
Kaycee is the first eliminated. JC is next to go. Sam goes next. Brett and Fessy are dismissed. Haleigh leaves with just Angela and Rockstar remaining. The last question goes to a tie breaker. This will be a number question. Angela answered the question closest to the correct number and wins the HOH competition.
Julie announced the next Big Brother twist of the summer. Starting this Sunday, the Hacker Competition will begin. Each week a houseguest will win the power to secretly hack the game. More details to come Sunday along with Angela’s block nominations.
