Big Brother 25 has set a premiere date. The new season will begin on August 2nd and is rumored to air until November. The decision to start Big Brother 2023 in August is likely because of the ongoing writers’ strike, so most of the network shows won’t be airing during the fall 2023 TV season.
Most likely, this means that there will be a lot of reality TV shows airing in the fall 2023 and summer 2023. With a lack of network programming, Big Brother 25 has the opportunity to capitalize on the collective boredom and improve its ratings from previous recent seasons. This may mean that CBS decides to do something big for the 25th season. According to the press release, there will be all-new houseguests.
This could be a true statement and we’ll get 16 new houseguests, or CBS could be trying to pull a surprise reveal on premiere night with a few returning houseguests. Either way, Big Brother 2023 starting so late should allow for anticipation to build and a really exciting season.
Also according to the press release, Big Brother 25 will air Wednesdays at 8:00 pm EST, Thursdays at 9:00 pm EST, and Sundays at 8:00 pm EST. The Big Brother 25 premiere will be a 90-minute episode. This is basically the normal Big Brother summer schedule.
According to a rumor, posted by Big Brother Gossip, Big Brother 25 will last until November 9. This will make the season 99 days long.
