For a couple of recent seasons, the Big Brother houseguests have moved in live. This means that they didn’t move into the house a week in advance. They did it during the live premiere episode. Additionally, this sometimes meant that Big Brother fans and Live Feed viewers could watch the feeds as early as night one. They could also watch the houseguest’s journey from start to finish.
The Big Brother 25 houseguests will repeat this tradition by moving in live on August 2nd.
The houseguests moving in live doesn’t eliminate the possibility of getting important Big Brother 25 details in advance. We should know the Big Brother 25 cast before the premiere episode. Additionally, twists and the house design will for sure be revealed early. In the next few weeks, a lot of details about the upcoming season will be revealed.
US Weekly reporter and Big Brother superfan Sharon Tharp was the first to confirm (via Twitter) the live move-in news. This likely means that the Live Feeds will also probably start on night one. This is great news for those who want to jump right into the action.
It’s terrible news for those who value sleep.
On Twitter, Tharp also warned fans that Big Brother 25 press coverage may be a lot different from previous seasons, but not in a good way. She didn’t go into specific details but it seems like the interviews may be shortened or only done via short answers to questions, instead of video chats.
Tharp also speculated that no one (not part of the Big Brother team) may know the cast until the day before the premiere. This is possible because of the live move-in, but let’s hope we have more to discuss preseason than just rumors and tiny crumbs of information.
