Ariadna Gutierrez may be the least known member of Celebrity Big Brother. The only thing most Americans know about Miss Colombia is that she was announced the winner of Miss Universe 2015, only for Miss Universe host Steve Harvey to later decrown her and say it was a mistake. Miss Philippines Pia Wurtzbach was the real winner.
Since that incident, Ariadna has stayed out of the spotlight for the most part. This is her first reality show ever, and one of her few IMDB credits. So we’re all curious to see how Ariadna handles the craziness of American reality television–especially Big Brother.

1. Fast and Furious Hollywood Connections
Ari was in a movie with Vin Diesel called XXX: Return of Xander Cage. It’s the sequel to XXX: State of the Union. The plot of the film seems very much like a Vin Diesel film. It’s heavy on action and hot women.
Despite being a sequel, which usually means it will be rated lower than the original, it is actually rated on IMDB slightly higher than the original.
2. Beauty and Poise Runs in the Family
Her cousin, Paulina Vega Dieppa, was crowned Miss Colombia in 2013, and then Miss universe in 2014. So pageantry seems to run in Ariadna’s family. Paulina won the crown one year before Ariadna’s infamous wrong name mishap.
3. A Christmas Baby
Ariadna is Capricorn who was born on Christmas (December 25, 1993).
4. Former Flames
Ariadna was rumored to be dating a 49-year old Italian millionaire named Gianluca Vacchi in early 2017, and just recently ended it in October 2017. So it makes perfect sense why Ariadna was so anti-showmance when asked about them.
5. A Cat Lady
She owns a greyish black cat named Gianni. This might make her win some points with cat ladies and pet lover Big Brother fans, which seems to be many of us.
Ari also loves dogs and other animals.She has many dogs postered on her Instagram, and often volunteers and raises money for animal charities.
