Power of Veto Ceremony:
Johnny Mac is very excited he isn’t going to be the one going home. Vanessa is in tears in the Diary Room (god her crying real and faked all the time is annoying). She’s so upset and furious that Johnny Mac would not just lay down and let her evict him like the good dog he should be!
Johnny Mac tells Austin and Liz he still wants to get with them. Steve is happy that Vanessa’s plan has failed because she should have put the showmance up. He thinks that Vanessa will keep Steve over Austin. It’s time to break up the showmance, he says. But Vanessa doesn’t want to talk to him, and that could be a bad sign.
At the Power of Veto Ceremony, Johnny Mac uses the Power of Veto to take himself off the block. Vanessa has no choice but to put up one of her longtime allies, either Liz or Austin, against Steve as an eviction nominee. We would have gone with putting up Liz as the bigger threat, but Vanessa decides to choose Austin as the renom instead. Vanessa says Liz was on the block last week and she doesn’t want to do it to her again, so that’s why she chose Austin.
Austin says in Diary Room that he thinks Vanessa will keep him, but she is a good game player and she may want another good game player out. Johnny Mac and Vanessa talk and she tells him that she wants to make final three with him. They agree that it would be stupid to keep a showmance in the final four and so they should get out Austin. But in Diary Room, Johnny Mac says that if Vanessa wants to keep Steve, maybe that isn’t the best thing for him.
Johnny Mac tells Austin that he is crazy enough to take a showmance to the final three. In Diary Room, Austin says that Johnny Mac is a madman and Judas loves it. He just hopes the eviction vote doesn’t turn out like the Power of Veto Competition when Johnny Mac was supposed to throw it. We hope Johnny Mac isn’t really crazy enough to take a showmance to the final four, and (as much as it hurts us to think) will team up with Vanessa to get Austin out.
Eviction Votes:
Very nervous, Steve says this is his dream and he thanks everyone for the great adventure. Austin actually promotes Life In Pieces in his speech and talks about how he is Judas and Steve is the boy and they are best friends. Okay Austin.
- Liz votes to evict Steve
- Johnny Mac votes to evict Austin
- Vanessa has to make the tiebreaker vote, she votes to evict.. AUSTIN!
The showmance is over and Austin is evicted! He slams the door open as he exits and is obviously pissed as hell! Vanessa makes it ALL about her and is crying and wailing to Liz. Everyone kind of blows her off like what the hell Vanessa, you just did that, own the F*ck up to it!
Austin tells Julie he thought he was going to win the game and Vanessa scumbagged him. He says he fell in love with Liz. He says he didn’t plan that, he was there to help his entertainment career. Austin says Liz is the most important thing he will take from this. He’s upset that she just got blindsided too. Austin is barefoot because he really apparently didn’t expect he would get evicted.
Julie Chen announces it is time to vote for America’s Favorite Houseguest and the fans can award $25,000 to their favorite by voting at CBS.com/bigbrother now.
Head of Household Competition:
John, Liz and Steve now have to battle it out in the HoH Competition. The winner will be guaranteed to make the final three and will still be eligible to play in the final HoH of the year. The competition will be a true or false competition on bleeped out words in statements from Houseguests in various videos.
- Round 1: Everyone gets it right.
- Round 2: Everyone gets it right.
- Round 3: Steve gets it right and is now in the lead.
- Round 4: Everyone gets it right.
- Round 5: Johnny Mac gets it right and is tied with Steve.
- Round 6: Everyone gets it wrong.
- Round 7: Steve and Johnny Mac get it right and are tied. Liz is out!
- Round 8: (Closest to correct number guess.) Steve wins Head of Household and is the first guaranteed in the final three!
Now we can only hope he will team up with Johnny Mac and Liz and get out Vanessa! But what! Steve says that he FORGOT A ZERO on his answer and that is why he won! If he had put the number he meant to put, he would have lost and Johnny Mac would have won. OMG.
Back from commercial and Julie Chen reminds us there will be another eviction on Wednesday night. Plus, Brendon and Rachel will be there with a very special announcement. Oh lord, are they finally preggers? Guess we’ll find out tomorrow.
Meanwhile, in the house Liz is crying in bed, Vanessa looks totally shell-shocked, and Johnny mac is smiling. Steve looks a bit crazed as he realizes he’s made the final three.
