Big Brother 2014 cast member Frankie Grande is headed back to Broadway, but this time he’ll be starring in a major role. Frankie, who came in fifth place on Big Brother 16, will appear as Franz in the Broadway musical Rock of Ages.
Before his sting on Big Brother 2014, YouTube personality Frankie Grande had appeared in and produced a number of shows on and off Broadway. His turn in Rock of Ages, however, will be his biggest starring role so far.
“I’m so unbelievably excited,” Frankie told People about being picked for the show. “I have wanted to play Franz ever since I first saw the show. I think it is one of the best, funniest, most clever roles.”
“We are beyond thrilled to have Frankie return to Broadway and join the cast ofRock of Ages,” producer Scott Prisand said, according to Playbill. “With his exceptional, triple-threat talent and effervescent personality, he is the perfect match for our show and the role of the hilarious and endearing Franz.”
