Who was nominated for eviction on Big Brother 17 in week 6? Will the new Head of Household stick to the deals they made at the end of the endurance HoH Competition? Or will they totally turn the tables and pull out the knives for a hearty bit of backstabbing?
After last night’s awesome Head of Household Competition, we’ve been waiting anxiously to find out who the new HoH would nominate. Thankfully, it didn’t take long for them to get their act in gear and start planning. So we are happy to have the Big Brother spoilers from the Live Feeds for you on who is most likely going up on the block!

We were so extremely excited when James held out the longest in last night’s endurance competition and emerged as the new Head of Household. We also loved that he promised safety to Johnny Mac before he came off the wall. We did not love, however, Shelli’s begging for safety for her and boy toy Clay before she dropped — or James’ promise to her that he would make that deal.
However, it seems clear from the overnight on the Big Brother Live Feeds that while James’ deal with Johnny Mac seems genuine, he doesn’t seem to care a rat’s a** about any such deal with Shelli. In fact, if we are totally lucky today for eviction nominations, both sides of the Clay/Shelli showmance may be going on the block!
James has been talking a lot with Meg, Jackie, and even Becky — who kind of inserted herself in there — about who to nominate. At first it looked like he was going to put up Austin and Liz, but really be focusing on a backdoor target. Then it turned to Vanessa and Liz, but that didn’t stick either.
The four of them talked a lot much of the night. One of the biggest conversations happened started up around 2:45 AM BBT and went on for quite a while. It started with Meg, James, and Jackie, and then Becky ended up involved as well. They discussed the possibilities for quite a while, going through all the Houseguests.
Just before 7:00 AM BBT this morning, James told Meg he has had insomnia and been awake all night worrying over nominations. He says he is tired of players putting up pawns and backdooring people. He says it is time to ‘go for the jugular’ and just put Clay and Shelli up together to duke it out. To that we say… YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS.
“This is Big Brother 17 and you can bounce checks,” James told Meg about forsaking his HoH Competition deal with Shelli. Even though he talked to both of them after the competition and promised them safety, again. He wants to totally blindside their a**es the way they did his buddy Jason. James says Audrey and Jason will be cheering. Meg says Da’Vonne will be cheering too. We will be cheering as well!
About ten minutes later, James and Meg inform Jackie of the eviction nomination plan and she is on board. However, she correctly notes that they will both get to play in the Veto Competition this way and so one of them could end up coming down. (In which, we say, the smart plan would be to put up Vanessa, okay James???)
Problem is, James has a rat hanging around in the form of Becky, who keeps running off to squeal to Clay. Becky found out about the new plan around 7:20 AM BBT. So there was a danger that Becky might tell Shelli and Clay they were going up. Which would kill the whole blindside surprise. Either way, the aftermath of the Nomination Ceremony is sure to be a LOT OF FUN to watch on those Big Brother Live Feeds (which you can get a week free to watch right now the perfect time!).
Did James stick to his guns and really put up Clay and Shelli against each other like he has been telling his allies he would do? Well, the Nomination Ceremony is over and we are happy to report that he did indeed throw the showmance couple on the block together!

Of course, one of them could win the Veto Competition and use it to take down themselves (or, unlikely, their sweetie). Or, just maybe, one of the other Houseguests might save Shelli or Clay from the block with the Veto. Even if that happens, we think it will take a big target going up as the Renom to save whomever is left from going home. Maybe Austin. Or Vanessa. We’ll just have to wait and see!
