Big Brother 20 Week 1 Live Eviction Recap (07/05/18)

The first Big Brother 20 live eviction has the potential to be one of the best ones yet. We know that Sam Bledsoe has the BB App power with a “chance” to return to the game.  And now because of Tyler Crispen, the entire Level 6 alliance knows as well. They want to save Sam from eviction while the other side of the house wants to save Steve. However, Level 6 doesn’t have enough votes to save Sam’s game. They need Kaitlyn Herman‘s swing vote to save Sam from eviction.

Big Brother 20 Live Eviction

Kaitlyn is a tricky player. She seems fairly loyal to F.O.U.T.T.E, but she’s an emotional player. Whoever gives her the most attention at the moment, may have her loyalty and vote… at that time.  Also, Kaitlyn seems to be jealous of Haleigh Broucher’s developing relationship with Faysal Shafaat.  How will that affect tonight’s vote?

As long as F.O.U.T.T.E treats Kaitlyn with respect, then she should remain loyal to them. However, anything could happen before tonight’s eviction to change Kaitlyn’s mind. We could be in for a complete blindside, or we could see the first BB App reward power come into play tonight.  Tyler and the Level 6 alliance are counting on Kaitlyn’s jealousy to drive her vote right over to their side.

Last Minute Game Decisions

7 votes are needed to stay in the Big Brother house for either Steve Arienta or for Sam in tonight’s live eviction vote.  Ironically, both houseguests seem to think they have enough votes to stay, but they both know just how close this vote will be at the live eviction.  Neither can rest this week and must do whatever it takes to stay in the game.

Earlier this week, Sam confided in Tyler by telling him she had won the first BB Store App Power which grants her the chance to return to the game if evicted.  The power could be used on herself or any other houseguest, but the power had to be used within the first 4 evictions.

Tyler kept the information to himself for a while until he felt he had to share the information with his alliance.  Tyler explained to the alliance just how important Sam could be to the group.  If they saved her this week and she did not have to use her power, then the power would be available to save one of them, if needed, in the near future.

Leading up to the eviction, the Big Brother 20 houseguests are bound to have second thoughts. Will someone attempt to save Sam by flipping the vote against Steve?

Week 1 Live Eviction Vote

It’s time to cast the votes. Did Tyler put in enough work to swing Kaitlyn’s vote?

By a vote of 7-6, Steve is evicted from the Big Brother 20 house.  Shock and horror are all over the face’s of the Foutte alliance when Steve’s departure is revealed.

During his exit interview with Julie Chen, Steve admitted he was a bit shocked with his eviction.  He knows that someone in his alliance flipped their vote, but he states he doesn’t know who that houseguest was inside the Big Brother house.  Steve did love the experience and has no regrets.

Week 2 Head of Household Competition

With such a divided house, everyone needs to try as hard as possible for this Head of Household win.

Tonight’s HOH competition is called “Land a Job”.  Each houseguest must launch a ball onto a mock cityscape rooftop where salary’s are assigned for each building.  The houseguest with the highest salary will win the HOH competition for week 2.

After each houseguest had their turn at launching the ball, Kaitlyn won the HOH for week two.  Being that she was the unknown swing vote in the earlier eviction, which alliance will she hold loyalty to now?

Tune in this Sunday’s episode on July 8 at 8PM EST/ 7PM CST for nominations to the block and the top trending houseguest.
