Big Brother 20 Week 9 Live Eviction Recap (08/30/2018)

As Julie Chen always says, “Expect the Unexpected” when talking about the thrilling social experimental game play of Big Brother.  Tonight the houseguest’s should heed her advice as they are in for an unexpected surprise when tonight’s evicted houseguest and 3 other recently evicted jury members battle for the right to reenter the game of Big Brother.  One half of a million dollars is on the line so if you think the stakes aren’t high, think again!

Big Brother 20

Quick recap of week 9 thus far…Angela Rummans of the Level 6 alliance won the Head of Household competition this week.  She decided to guarantee the showmance of Haleigh Broucher and Faysal Shafaat was ended by nominating both of them to the block for eviction this week.  Her ally and fellow alliance member Kaycee Clark stepped up to the plate and won the Power of Veto competition. Kaycee decided NOT to use those powers this week thereby keeping Angela’s nominations the same.

Now, Haleigh or Fessy will be evicted from the Big Brother house tonight, but they will immediately have an opportunity to compete for their chance to battle back into the game.  The Battle Back competition will pit 4 members of the Hive alliance against each other vying for their spot in the Big Brother game.  In addition to tonight’s evicted houseguest, Bayleigh Dayton, Rockstar Lantry, and Scottie Salton will be competing for another shot at $500,000…no pressure there.

Last Minute Wheelings and Dealings

Haleigh is trying to look forward and plan her next move in the game of Big Brother, but Fessy is upset by her spending time with the ‘other’ side of the house.  Knowing that one of them is going home, Fessy expects Haleigh to spend every waking moment with him before he is evicted this week, assuming he’s the one to go (odds are Fessy will hit the road).  Haleigh can’t quite find the balance of satisfying Fessy and trying to nurture relationships with the remaining houseguests.  She’s got herself in quite a conundrum.

Meanwhile, Tyler Crispen is busy making deals with anyone and everyone in the Big Brother house.  Currently, Tyler has final 2 deals with Kaycee, Sam Bledsoe, JC Moundiux, and now Brett Robinson.  Even Tyler concurs that this is a bit much at this point in the game.  That’s a lot of stories to keep straight and deals to keep secret.  Good luck with that Tyler, good luck.

Live Eviction Vote

Brett Robinson Voted to Evict Fessy

Sam Bledsoe Voted to Evict Haleigh
Tyler Crispen Voted to Evict Fessy

Big Brother 20 Faysal Shafaat

By a vote of 4 to 1, Fessy has been evicted from the Big Brother house.  During his exit interview with Julie, Fessy admitted that some of his exit speech was fibbed and a bit exaggerated about Tyler, Angela, and Brett.  He did so because Angela has such a good position in the Big Brother house.  Fessy also admitted to making some questionable moves while playing the game over the course of the last 9 weeks.  He does regret not taking a shot at Tyler or Angela when he had the chance.

Battle Back Competition

Julie announced the Battle Back to the remaining houseguests.  She instructed them that they will not be allowed to watch the competition.  They will know who won when the winning Battle Back houseguest knocks on the Big Brother door momentarily.

With a circus and carnival theme for the Battle Back competition, the players must retrieve colored balls and drop them into their own tube.  The competition is called Big Top Drop.  Once the houseguest drops 4 balls into their tubes, they must run to the other side of the yard to press the buzzer.  The first to do so wins their shot back into the Big Brother house.  Fessy has an advantage due to his athleticism and long arm reach.  However, Scottie quickly pulled out the win for team Hive.

Big Brother 20 Battle Back

Scottie returned to the Big Brother house and was greeted with open arms, for now, by all of the houseguests.  They were literally jumping for joy to see Scottie back into the house.  Jump to the live feeds now to watch the Head of Household competition play out live.
