We have HUGE Big Brother spoilers for you from the upcoming premiere! The official CBS Big Brother 16 YouTube channel released a sneak peak of the first Head of Household (HOH) competition of the summer! In addition to a great view of the backyard set, this release gives us more insight into this season’s twists starting with the Big Brother 2014 premiere tonight.
Only eight of the sixteen Big Brother 16 cast members are participating in this competition: Frankie, Joey, Cody, Devin, Donny, Amber, Nicole, and Paola. These houseguests were on the cusp of beginning the very first competition of the summer by holding on to kites in “Go Fly a Kite.”
Surrounded by a beach-inspired set, they stood on rotating beams and held ropes connected to their kites. If a kite falls, it destroys the sand castle beneath and eliminates that houseguest from the competition.
If our earlier guess is accurate, this set of eight might be Team America! We know the Big Brother 2014 houseguests have entered the house as two sets of eight. Due to Frankie’s enormous social media following, we assume he easily made Team America. If that’s true, the other houseguests in this competition must also be on Team America.

That leaves Christine, Zach, Caleb, Hayden, Jocasta, Derrick, Brittany, and Victoria in the other group of eight. It remains to be seen what advantages, privileges, or powers Team America will hold over the other eight if our guess holds true.
This sneak peak has only made waiting for Wednesday’s premiere worse. We’ll have to wait to find out who rocks endurance competitions and who strategically throws this one. Stay tuned as we bring you the latest on Big Brother 16!
