On Thursday, Shelli and Liz won Heads of Household! After much discussion and last minute decisions, a decision was made that Jason would be the primary target, although nobody was asked to throw the Battle of the Block competition, for once. When all was said and done: Shelli nominated Jason and John; Liz nominated Jackie and James. The Heads of Household spoke with their nominees and wished them the best of luck in the BoB, no specific winner and loser was planned out. After nominations were complete, Liz switched out with Julia, who was filled in on what happened.
The Battle of the Block involved Smashing Pumpkins to find keys and band names. I’m not entirely sure how things unfolded, but it was apparently incredibly close. Ultimately, Jackie and James edged out the win over Jason and John. Thus, Shelli retained Head of Household. As a result of losing, John, Jason, and Julia are being forced to wear all-white boy band outfits and occasionally perform a song-and-dance routine when their pagers go off. They are being referred to as The Whackstreet Boys.
After the Battle of the Block competition ended, paranoia ran rampant and between Shelli and Vanessa being paranoid and Audrey being Audrey, the idea to potentially backdoor her this week was hatched. Shelli refuses to commit however and has brought up the idea of putting up Austin potentially instead, should the Power of Veto be used. But again, we’re days away from an actual decision having to be made.
The Power of Veto players were picked and they were Jason, Meg, and Vanessa, along with Shelli, Jason, and John. After some discussions, Shelli gave Jason and Meg her blessing to save Jason if they won the Power of Veto. Vanessa said she would throw it in front of a group but ultimately said to Shelli that she would go for it so they have all the cards. The competition was the wire-cutter bomb game from last year, and the ultimately Vanessa won the Power of Veto!
There’s sure to be many, many discussions about who she might save and who would be the replacement. It’s sure to be an interesting week in the Big Brother house to say the least!
