The MVP nominee for week 6 was announced to the HouseGuests before the Power of Veto Competition players were chosen. America was once again the Big Brother Most Valuable Player this week and voted to decide who the third nominee for eviction would be.

8-2-2013-10-13-21-AMOnce again, America chose to put Amanda up on the block for the second week in a row. Needless to say, Amanda was really, really not pleased about this. Especially since any theories that Howard was the MVP last week and put her up are now blown out of the water.

Amanda joined Jessie and Candice as the eviction nominees to play in the Power of Veto Competition this week, along with Head of Household GinaMarie. Judd and Spencer were randomly selected as the other players this time around. Aaryn played host.

GinaMarie, Amanda, Helen, McCrae, Aaryn, etc. were all really hoping that Jessie would win the PoV, clearing the way for a Candice eviction. That, in fact, is why GM put up Jessie instead of Spencer — because they thought Jessie would stand a better chance of winning the PoV. (GM didn’t want to just backdoor Candice because that’s not how she rolls.)

12-11 PMDuring the Power of Veto Competition, the players won random prizes/punishments in exchange for disadvantages/advantages in reaching the goal of winning the PoV. Spencer won a trip to the Bahamas. Judd won $5,000. Candice got punished with a clown suit she has to wear all week. GinaMarie got punished with having to wear a big plastic medical dog collar around her neck for a day. Amanda was punished with a spray tan every hour for 50 hours until she turns ‘50 shades of orange.’

The winner, in the end, was Jessie — which relieved the current power group in the house to no end. Jessie, of course, is not going to be an idiot and do anything but save herself from the block with the PoV.

9-04 PM

Next up, we’ll have the CBS Big Brother 15 live eviction show on Thursday. Viewers will find out what happened at the Power of Veto Ceremony (in other words, who GinaMarie put up as the replacement nom) and learnt who will be the next HouseGuest headed out the door. Be sure to join us for our live Big Brother 2013 recap tomorrow night!
