Big Brother 26 Episode 3: First HOH crowed of the season

Big Brother 26 is underway after an introduction to all 16 houseguests on the two-night premiere last week. In addition to meeting all of the new houseguests, all players cast a special vote to determine if Ainsley would be added to the game as the 17th houseguest, but this was not exactly how it seemed.

Ainsley was a new AI twist added to the game. Those who voted to keep Ainsley were rewarded with the chance to win an upgrade to their game, while those who voted to discard Ainsley competed to receive a downgrade to their Big Brother 26 game. Cedric Hodges and Chelsie Baham received downgrades, and Makensy Manbeck and Quinn Martin upgraded.

Makensy was awarded America’s Veto power. With four weeks to use it, Makensy can remove a player from the block, including herself. Quinn’s upgrade in Deepfake HOH entitles Quinn to strip the HOH of all powers for the week and control the nominations. He also has four weeks to use this power.

The first official business after the downgrades and upgrades was to determine the first have-nots of the season. Big Brother AI asked for volunteers and Tucker Des Lanriers, Kimo Apaka, Cam Sullivan-Brown, and Quinn Martin for the week inside the Big Brother 26 house. Cold showers and slop are coming their way this week.

Big Brother AI announces another twist to this season. The first HOH will be able to nominate three players to the block for eviction. After the Power of Veto, the houseguests get to play in the AI arena on eviction night, and one lucky winner can remove themselves from the chopping block.

The first HOH competition kicks off. This competition will be played in teams. The rules for the competition change frequently, but Angela Murray ultimately won the first HOH of Big Brother 26.

Quinn and Angela forge a final two-deal rather quickly. He decides to confide in her about the upgrade he received. Quinn wants to make connections and ensure he is not nominated to the block for eviction this week.

Angela nominated Kenney Kelley, Kimo Apaka, and Lisa Weintraub to the block for eviction this week. They will compete in the Power of Veto to take themselves off the block. Kenney is the target this week.

Join us again on Wednesday, July 24th, at 9 PM EST for the POV competition.
