Note: The following information has not yet aired on Big Brother 16 on CBS. We have the latest scoop on one of the most intriguing twists of Big Brother 16! This season, America plays an interactive role in the Big Brother house by voting on the Houseguest they would most likely align with in the house. The top vote-receivers are placed on a secret alliance called Team America.
America chose Joey as the first member of Team America. She, however, was the first one evicted from the house last week. We learned last week that America chose Donny as the new first member of Team America. That left two open spots on this secret alliance with America. Big Brother is to reveal the final two members of the alliance on Wednesday’s show.
The Live Feeds have, however, revealed that Derrick and Frankie will join Team America with Donny! Frankie’s selection is only surprising in that it took so long for him to be selected. With his sizable following on social media and his sister’s massive fan base, we easily expected him to soar above the other Houseguests in any popularity vote from America.
This three-person alliance will certainly create an interesting dynamic with the current state of the other alliances in the house. Frankie and Derrick both belong to the eight-member Bomb Squad alliance. That alliance, however, is close to implosion with Devin nominating Zach, a fellow Bomb Squad member, to replace Brittany on the block.
Donny hasn’t belonged to an official alliance other than the brief flirtation with the idea of a final two alliance with Devin. Frankie and Derrick may keep their alliances on the surface to remain in good graces with the majority of the house.
Hopefully, we will receive more information on how exactly this secret alliance operates. Will it be similar to America’s Player from Season 8 or closer to the saboteur of Season 12?
