Survivor Blood vs Water premieres tonight and we have a surprise for our readers! This season’s Survivor 27 cast includes former Big Brother winner Hayden Moss, which gives us a terrific excuse to cover the show here on our site all season long. Not that we really needed a huge reason, since it just happens to be our second favorite reality TV show after Big Brother!
We’ll be recapping the Survivor 2013 premiere live for you tonight but in case you’re like us and just can’t wait to know what’s going to happen in advance — we have a few little tasty pre-show tidbits for you. Like, for example, delicious Survivor spoilers on who will reportedly be the first three people to be sent off to Redemption Island — and who the first castaway to be eliminated will be!

There are so many twists and turns on Survivor Blood vs Water that it’s like trying to put together a 1,000 piece puzzle with a blindfold on. The biggest one, of course, is the whole ‘team’ aspect this year with pairs consisting of one veteran Survivor player and a family member or loved one. What these ‘teams’ don’t know going in, however, is that they are going to be split up after their first night together on the island and be forced to compete against each other. That’s the second big twist of the season.
Then, of course, we have the return of Redemption Island — which, admittedly, is one of our least favorite twists and we’re not really excited to see it back this year. Hopefully it will prove not to suck as much as it has previously and will actually add a level of fun this season instead of mucking up the game too much. Added on top of that, Redemption Island is just a bit different this time around.
Anyone voted out will be sent to Redemption Island and compete in a three person duel. The person who comes in last will go home and the other two will get to stay (and the person who wins will get a hidden immunity idol clue). That’s not all though! In this season,, a person’s loved one still in the game can choose to trade places with their ‘partner’ on Redemption Island before a duel. They can switch after each and every duel if they want to.
That leads us into our first big Survivor Blood vs Water spoilers before the premiere tonight on CBS. We hear from our Survivor spoilers sources that Candice Cody and Laura Boneham will be sent to Redemption Island in the first episode. Laura’s husband Rupert Boneham then switches with her for the dual. At the Tribal Council, Marissa Peterson is voted out by the other castaways. This puts her, Rupert and Candice against each other in the first duel. According to the alleged spoilers, Rupert loses out and comes in last place — meaning he is the first person eliminated on Survivor 27.
