CBS has announced the Big Brother 16 premiere is going to be an epic, two-night, move-in event! The special Big Brother 2014 premiere will span Wednesday, June 25 to Thursday, June 26.
We can’t help but think this two-part “move-in event” gives a strong hint that we may indeed be in for a ‘Blood vs. Water’ season. Spreading out the move-in over two nights would provide an easy setup to split the two sides of the Big Brother 2014 house against each other. We have heard a lot of rumors of previous show veterans possibly being involved, so we might even have a veterans with family members kind of thing just like Survivor: Blood vs. Water.
On the other hand, we could possibly be doing something more Big Brother Canada style where America will vote in a Houseguest. That’s one of the latest rumors going around. Also, that special Houseguest (or Houseguests) could be veterans of the show rather than newbies.
Obviously, we are still waiting on some solid Big Brother 2014 spoilers to come in on exactly what the theme will be for this year. And if it will be all newbies or a mixture of new and old. (We are pretty sure it won’t be straight All-Stars, but you never know at this point.) Until we have more real information to share on the season 16 theme, here’s what CBS had to say so far about the upcoming premiere:
