The Big Brother 17 finale is here! After 17 Houseguests, 15 evictions (including Johnny Mac twice), and 98 days of Big Brother 2015, we’ve finally made it to the end. All we have left is to find out who will win it all! Will it be millionaire poker player Vanessa Rousso? Twin Twist survivor Liz Nolan? Or Ivy League student and underdog Steve Moses?
CBS Big Brother‘s 90 minute finale for season 17 takes place tonight on September 23 at 9:30 ET/PT. We’ll have the last round of the final Head of Household Competition, after which the winner will cast their vote to determine which Houseguests will join them in the final two. Then it will all be up to the Jury to determine who won Big Brother 2015.
This year on Big Brother 17, we’ve had the longest season ever at 98 days total. We’ve also had the most Houseguests ever, thanks to the Twin Twist, with 17 players in total throughout the season. While the much-hyped Big Brother Takeover Twist fell apart after week three and vanished into thin air, we’ve still had plenty of drama in the house this season.
Although there have been a lot of complaints about the Big Brother 17 cast, including a petition to demand a more diverse and less ‘recruited’ selection of Houseguests in the future, we’ve had some very memorable characters this season.
Who can forget transgender Houseguest Audrey Middleton and her too hard, too fast game play? Or her dramatic sulking that launched the #blanketing hashtag on Twitter and spawned a term we’ll never forget in Big Brother history? Or Momma Day, Da’Vonne Rogers, who figured out the Twin Twist, and will go down as one of the Houseguests we most regret going home too soon on a season of Big Brother? Or how about the awesome rock star dentist Johnny Mac and hillbilly ninja James Huling?
In the end, we were left with just three Houseguests in the Big Brother finale battling it out for the final half million, and all of them deserved to be there in their own way. Vanessa manipulated her way to the end like the top ranked poker player she is. Liz survived to the final three despite being part of the Twin Twist and a showmance, which still astounds us. Steve won the right competitions at the right moments and carefully walked a thin line between Vanessa, her allies, and her enemies to make the finale.
On Big Brother tonight, it will all come down to who wins the final round of the last Head of Household Competition, the choice they make on whom to take to the final two, and what the Jury votes in the end. Be sure to join us for our live recap tonight at 6:30 PM PT/9:30 PM ET to find out who won Big Brother 2015!
