After a desperate attempt to win the Power of Veto (POV) failed for Block nominees Frank Eudy and Bridgette Dunning, their last hope that neither of them would go home abruptly ended. However, there was still a glimmer of hope that one of them could be taken off the Block by the POV winner.
On Wednesday evening, the Power of Veto competition featured the infamous Otev, this time as a British DJ obsessed with the word “dope”. Da’Vonne Rogers, Michelle, Meyer, and Nicole Franzel were randomly selected to compete against Block nominees Frank and Bridgette and Head of Household (HOH) James Huling for the POV.
Frank must have felt as though he was inside an episode of the Twilight Zone as this same competition sealed his fate in season 14 of Big Brother. A quick but messy battle gave this week’s POV title to Michelle providing some obvious heartbreak to Bridgette.
Frank certainly gave it his best shot to try and convince Michelle to use her POV to save him from the Block pitching her on the lure of making a big move in the house. Luckily, Michelle was able to see through Frank’s desperate attempts to save himself, and she declined to use the POV on neither Bridgette nor Frank at the POV ceremony.
This seems to be the end of the road for the “Fridgette” alliance as certainly either Frank or Bridgette will be evicted from the a Big Brother house tonight, just one eviction short of jury. The house seems set on following through on the original plan of seeing Frank out the door, but does he have a little life left in him to convince the house to save him and vote out Bridgette?
Tune in tonight to see who will be the next HG evicted from Big Brother 18!
