Our 2013 Big Brother recap tonight starts off on a bit of a sour note that many fans will never even know about if all they do is watch the CBS show. And no, it really has nothing to do with who was evicted on Big Brother tonight — which should be the main focus of the show.
Unfortunately, over the past few days, several Big Brother 15 cast members have found themselves in the midst of a nasty controversy over racist and homophobic remarks made on the Big Brother Live Feeds. None of these, of course, will ever make their way to the CBS Big Brother show.
If you want to read up on what’s been happening with this whole Big Brother racism and derogatory remarks issue, you can check out the latest here. Suffice it to say that both Aaryn Gries and GinaMarie Zimmerman have already found themselves being shunned and punished in the real world because of what they’ve been saying — even if they don’t know it yet.
On the other hand, if you’d rather just ignore all that mess and get on with enjoying the CBS Big Brother show without all the worries about all the drama about what’s been going on with the Big Brother Live Feeds, we’re good with that too! Keep on reading for our Big Brother 15 recap of the live eviction show on Thursday night and find out who got voted off Big Brother tonight!

CBS Big Brother 15 kicks off tonight where we left off on Sunday night’s show at the end of the Power of Veto Ceremony. McCrae is still working everyone like nobody’s business and he’s determined to make the eviction come out exactly how he plans.
Elissa confesses to Andy and Amanda that she really is former Big Brother winner Rachel Reilly’s sister. They are pleased that she finally told them herself and feel a little better about her… for now. Moving on to the showmances, we have Jeremy and Kaitlin getting cozy now, which just makes us want to fast forward. And then we coast along to the big drama of the night and it’s all over the rare alcohol given to the Big Brother 15 HouseGuests.
The Have-Nots (Andy, Elissa, Helen, Howard, and Judd) are not allowed to drink until midnight. So most of the HouseGuests decide to wait until then so everyone can drink together. Everyone except Jeremy, Aaryn, Kaitlin and David. They sneak a bottle of wine and go off to consume it together.
When midnight rolls around, Elissa and Helen start looking for the wine and find it missing. Aaryn lies about what happened to the wine. Jeremy, on the other hand, comes right out and says he drank the whole bottle himself. All this degrades into one big mess of drama that ends up with Helen crying and Amanda pissed as hell.
That’s followed by another showmance moment of Amanda and McCrae getting it on in the Head of Household room. We are now thouroughly disturbed by the hookups going on this season. That’s one we didn’t see coming and wish we had never seen in action. Sliding over to our third showmance currently ongoing, Aaryn and David are all happy because they think David is probably safe because everyone likes him, right?
After a bit of alliance scheming and backroom dealing, it looks like all the votes are lined up to get David evicted this week. Judd, Amanda and Spencer are all now totally on board with keeping Elissa because she’ll likely win Most Valuable Player again and can be a great asset going forward. The CBS Big Brother show kind of makes David out to be really clueless about his fate, but by this time on the Big Brother Live Feeds, we could tell he was starting to feel pretty nervous about his chances.
In the end, with two big alliances arrayed against him (the Mega Alliance and The Moving Company Alliance), David didn’t stand a chance. Here’s how the votes went down:
Amanda: David
Aaryn: Elissa
Nick: David
Candice: Elissa
Spencer: David
Kaitlin: Elissa
Helen: David
Howard: David
GinaMarie: Elissa
Judd: David
Jeremy: (voted against The Moving Company alliance, but with his early alliance with David and Jessie)
Andy: David
In his post-eviction interview with host Julie Chen, David is pretty cool about it all and says he thinks he was too likeable and too much of a threat.
Now it’s time for the next Head of Household Competition and they are competing in pairs. McCrae as the last HoH has to sit this one out. One person in the pair has to fill a cup with BBQ sauce and then run down and fill their teammate’s cup and they go fill a bucket. They can pick the big bucket to win HoH, or a small bucket to win a scoop to fill the big bucket faster. Well, it’s hard to explain, but as with all Big Brother competitions, harder to do than it sounds. Here are the pairs for the HoH Challenge:
- Spencer & Helen
- Candice & GinaMarie
- Andy & Elissa
- Amanda & Kaitlin
- Judd & Nick
- Jeremy & Aaryn
- Jessie & Howard
The CBS Big Brother 15 show closes with the HoH Competition still playing out on the Big Brother Live Feeds. So tune in there to find out who won or we’ll post the results here as soon as it is over!
