Last night, during the first night of the special two night Big Brother 21 premiere event, Jackson Michie was voted as the first Camp Director in Big Brother history. This position granted Jackson safety from eviction this week. Unfortunately, tonight, he must banish four houseguests, who will battle in the Big Brother Wilderness for the right to stay in the game. Three players will return, while one houseguest will be sent packing.
Also this evening, the first Head of Household (HOH) of Big Brother 21 will be crowned in what Julie Chen Moonves called an epic endurance competition.
Big Brother Wilderness
As any Big Brother fan could imagine, the entire house is all over Jackson to make sure that they are not one of the houseguests banished from the game. In the end, Jackson decided to banish Cliff Hogg III, Kemi Fakunle, Jessica Milagros, and David Alexander. Comically, to announce Jackson’s choices, a large rodent (AKA a squirrel) came into the Big Brother 21 house, and he placed the banished houseguests into a burlap sack and carried them away, one by one. Those four houseguests must now fight for their right to return from Big Brother Banishment.
In complete darkness, the banished houseguests must travel through the wilderness to make their way back to Camp BB. There are detours along the way which make their journey more difficult. Cliff was the first to find Camp BB followed by Kemi and Jessica. U nfortunately, David was the last to find his way back to the house and is immediately banished from the game…for now, according to Julie.
Head of Household Competition
Jackson’s last duty as camp director was for him to pick pairs of the houseguests for the upcoming HOH competition. Each pair will hang onto a tree log suspended from the ceiling so the log can sway and turn, making the comp that much more difficult. The last houseguest holding onto their log wins the first HOH of the summer. Did we mention that the houseguests will also face being slimed and other elements making this task that much harder? #BigBrotherStyle
Jessica was the first houseguest to fall from her log. The final two houseguests remaining on their logs were Christie Murphy and Tommy Bracco. Christie and Tommy secretly know each other in the real world and have already made a secret pact together. In the end, Christie wins the first HOH of the summer.
