Big Brother showmance couple Rachel Reilly and Brendon Villegas have announced the name of their new baby daughter and it’s so cute! The former showmance couple turned real life husband and wife welcomed their new addition to the family earlier this month. They kept hush-hush on the name, however, waiting until now to announce it to the world.
Rachel and Brendon’s baby daughter was born April 8 in Los Angeles, and weighed in at 6 lbs., 10 oz. From the baby pic the couple posted on Instagram, the little sprout is also incredibly adorable. So it seems the name picked out by her parents couldn’t possibly suit her any better!
The newest Big Brother family baby was named Adora Borealis Villegas, a moniker inspired by her ancestry and Rachel Reilly’s fascination with the Northern Lights.
“We came up with the name Adora because we adore her, she’s ‘Adora-ble,’ and we wanted a Spanish name to celebrate her Hispanic heritage,” the couple told People. “Borealis was Rachel’s must-have middle name because she’s always been infatuated with the natural beauty of the Aurora Borealis.”
Well, Adora Aurora probably would have sounded a bit of a mouthful if they’d gone with that choice instead!
