After 11 celebrities have fought it out inside the Big Brother house over the last 3 weeks, the moment we have all been waiting for has finally arrived. There has been laughs and tears, drama and fights, with friendships forged forever. There are only 5 celebrities left inside to battle it out for coveted title of Celebrity Big Brother. Marissa Jaret Winokur won the $250,000 prize of Celebrity Big Brother. Ross Mathews won America’s Favorite Player.
The remaining celebrities inside the Big Brother house include Ross Mathews, Omarosa, Marissa Jaret Winokur, Mark McGrath, and Ariadna Gutiėrrez. We last left the celebs battling over the next Head of Household (HOH) competition called Rocky Mountain Fly. The houseguests must hang onto their ski lift for their lives in this endurance competition.
Marissa was the first celebrity to fall off of her ski lift taking a dramatic Celebrity Big Brother fall. Ari was not far behind Marissa falling out of the comp. Mark and Ross were the only 2 left, and Ross started talking deals immediately. Omarosa kept putting her two cents in as it was killing her not to know what’s going on with their secret deal. Mark finally took a fall and gave the new HOH to Ross.
With only a few choices left, HOH Ross nominated Omarosa and Ari to the block for eviction. Ross had made his intentions of targeting Omarosa very clear to the other 3 houseguests. Omarosa should be evicted unless she wins the golden Power of Veto (POV). Big Brother Game on!
The final veto competition is called Get Your Story Straight and each houseguest played one at-a-time. To win, the houseguests must match the correct day with the corresponding Celebrity Big Brother story. Once the houseguest believes they have all 8 days matched to their correct story, they will lock in their answers by hitting the enter key. The houseguest to match the most correct days in the shortest amount of time will win the POV.
The results for this Big Brother event were mixed and all over the place. Ross and Marissa both got all of their answers correct whereas Omarosa only had 1 correct answer out of 8 possible. Between Ross and Marissa, the houseguest with the fastest time wins the POV. Ross finished in 5:42 blowing away Marissa’s time of 12:31. Ross won the POV and should keep his nominations the same. In fact, that is exactly what Ross did, he chose not to use the POV.
Time for the first live vote and eviction of the evening. After two very power speeches, the voting began. Marissa casted her vote for Omarosa. Mark also voted to evict Omarosa. By a vote of 2 to 0, Omarosa was evicted from the Big Brother house. During her exit interview with Julie Chen, Omarosa shared that she was surprised she lasted so long in the house. Once she planned and executed the eviction of the strongest player in the games, James Maslow, she knew her time was limited inside the house.
The time has come for the last HOH competition called Hash It Out. The houseguests will determine incorrect statements made by the evicted houseguests over the course of 6 rounds. For each correct answer, they will receive a point. The houseguest with the most points after 6 rounds wins the most powerful HOH in Big Brother history.
Round one goes to Marissa, she was the only houseguest to answer the first question correctly. Everyone answered the round 2, 3, 4, and 5 questions correctly. On the round 6 question, Marissa and Ari answered incorrectly making the game tied at 5 points with Marissa, Ross and Mark. The tie-breaker question was answered correctly by Marissa making her the new HOH.
After emotion farewell speeches, Marissa chose to evict Mark and Ari from the Big Brother house. This left her and Ross as the final two houseguests vying for $250,000. Mark revealed how difficult the game of Big Brother was during his exit interview with Julie. Both Mark and Ari agreed this was one of the best experiences of their lives.
The fate of the final two, Ross and Marissa, rests with the jury of 9 including Chuck Liddell, Brandi Glanville, Keshia Knight Pulliam, Metta World Peace, Shannon Elizabeth, James Maslow, Omarosa, Mark McGrath, and Ariadna Gutièrrez.
