Christine Brecht Big Brother 16 Cast Profile [VIDEOS & PHOTOS]

Big Brother 2014 cast member Christine Brecht is so “in love” with her husband Timothy that she won’t scream if she stubs her toe in the middle of the night because she doesn’t want to wake him. How cute is that? We found that tidbit on her Facebook page, which amazing enough was not set to private or deleted after she was announced as a Houseguest this year.

While Christine’s Facebook page will probably vanish or be hidden any minute, it gave us some interesting insights into the new Big Brother 16 contestant while it was open to the public. Some of them big, like she’s battled depression in the past, and some of them small, like she thinks Avocado is yummy and she apparently has a very cute dog.

CBS Big Brother 16 Bio: Christine Brecht

Age: 23
Hometown: Tucson, Ariz.
Occupation: Shift Supervisor / Barista
Three adjectives that describe you: Bubbly (my nickname at work is “bubbles”), eccentric and hilarious.
Favorite Activities: Exploring new cities. I love going out and seeing new places. Also, I love hanging out with my friends and playing Settlers of Catan and watching reality TV.
What do you think will be the most difficult part about living inside the Big Brother house: I do not know how I am going to go without seeing my husband and family, but I know I can do it! Not being able to explore and being stuck in one place. Also, I don’t want to clean up everyone’s messes.
Do you have a strategy for winning Big Brother?: I plan on being nice and having everyone confide in me to get information from all over the house. I really want to have a strong pack with only three to four people that I stay loyal to till the end. I don’t want to play both sides of the house, but I’m not saying I won’t.
Which past Big Brother cast member did you like most: I love Howie, I just loved his personality and I love Mike Boogie’s game. Helen amazed me with her ability to feel out what was happening in the house.
What are you afraid of: I have a huge phobia of moths. I guess you could say I’m afraid of most flying bugs too.
What is the accomplishment you are most proud of: Being cast as the lead in a musical last summer!
Finish this sentence: My life’s motto is… Love people and be happy!
What would you take into the house and why: My cell phone, a Spice Girls CD, because I need to jam out, and Settlers of Catan, because it’s the best game and it brings people together!
What would you do if “Big Brother” made you famous: I would use it to my advantage and hopefully become a casting director!

Christine once threw a surprise birthday party for a homeless man in the park, was in a hot air balloon accident in high school, but only walked away with bruises. She has been to Disneyland more than 50 times.

More on Christine Brecht:

Some of the interesting facts we learned about Christine from her social media profiles? She’s been “off depression medicine for 2 years” thanks to her husband and Jesus. She says on her Twitter profile that she really “love me some Jesus.” She is a big fan of Dexter. She graduated from Canyon del Oro High School in 2009.  And she’s been working at Starbucks since September of 2010. Her husband, Timothy Brecht, apparently likes tattoos as much as she does, and he’s a a pretty good musician. He also baptized his wife back on February 24, 2013.

Our Thoughts on Christine Brecht:

From her interviews, Christine seems intelligent and also doesn’t seem afraid of physical challenges. She could be a strong contender in endurance competitions. However, we don’t see the other Houseguests really considering her a big threat early on in the competition unless they find out she is a Big Brother superfan who has seen every single episode. We’re betting Christine will manage to float along for at least the first three or four weeks, unless she is that unfortunate girl who just gets booted first because no one likes them. Seriously doubting, however, that Christine is winner material, or even Top 3.
