Who was evicted on Big Brother tonight seemed like a pretty much 100 percent set in stone choice long before the actual vote results came in this evening. The house majority has been working hard practically from the moment Nicole Franzel was named Head of Household to evict one specific player ASAP.
However, despite all the power in the house seeming to be targeted on the houseguest named as the target of the first ‘real’ eviction of the season, things can always go wrong. You can never really count on who is going to get the boot out of the door until they are actually walking through it.
Houseguest Jozea Flores managed to quickly get on the wrong side of half the houseguests very quickly just in the first week of the game. His constant belief that everyone in the house adores him, and that he is basically the “Messiah” of the rookies, has not gone over well. This is true especially with the veterans, all of whom he has loudly proclaimed need to get kicked out of the house as soon as possible.
So it was hardly surprising when new Head of Household Nicole Franzel got with her fellow veterans and decided Jozea needed a swift kick in the rear out the door. Working with a select group of newbie allies, the vets made a plan to get Jozea out, while trying very hard to keep it a secret so he would end up blindsided at the eviction.
While the majority 8 Pack alliance of vets and newbies remained solid in their resolve both to oust Jozea and keep him from knowing in advance, it was a long week of trying to keep the plan hush hush. Tension among the members of the majority alliance, and their side alliances, threatened to leak too much information to the rest of the house, spoiling the blindside and perhaps even messing up the whole eviction vote.
Right before the Big Brother Live Feeds shut off before the eviction show, it seemed like the eviction plan and the blindside were still in place. However, anything can happen in the time between when the Feeds go down and the live show begins. So we weren’t counting our Jozea gets the boot chickens before they hatched!
When it came time for the eviction votes, we were waiting to see if there would be some grand twist happen and Jozea would somehow end up saved. However, things shook out pretty much as expected and Jozea was evicted by a majority vote.

However, host Julie Chen said that this wasn’t going to be the end of the road for Jozea, or for previously eliminated Glenn either! That’s right, it looks like the evicted players are going to get a chance to be part of the game again. We’ll just have to wait and see what that means…
