Figuring out who got voted off Big Brother for week 3 didn’t seem like it was going to be that hard of a prediction to make. From everything we’d seen on the 2013 Big Brother Live Feeds all week, all signs seemed to point very firmly toward one particular HouseGuest who would be evicted on Big Brother 15 this week. In this game, however, it is never wise to believe any player is absolutely 100 percent out the door until the final votes are counted…
Even before Helen won Head of Household for week 3, we pretty much knew what her plan would be if she did take home the win. Helen wanted Jeremy as the one who went home on Big Brother 15 this week. Period, end of story. Once she had the HoH power in hand, and Elissa as the probable Most Valuable Player again in her pocket, it was full steam ahead with her plan. And this time, she wasn’t going to give Jeremy the opportunity to escape eviction by winning the Power of Veto Competition.
With The Moving Company alliance now dead and most of the house aligned with her vision, Helen pushed the house in mass to get on board with the plan to backdoor Jeremy. In the first step of the plan, Helen nominated Aaryn and Jeremy’s showmance girlfriend Kaitlin for eviction. When her Mom Squad ally Elissa won MVP again, they collaborated to make sure Jeremy would still be the backdoor target by having Elissa nominate Spencer as the third person up on the block. (Although McCrae and Amanda really, really wanted Howard in case something happened with Jeremy — especially Amanda.)
Not putting Jeremy up on the block in the original nominations meant that he had a very small chance of getting to play in the Power of Veto Competition as a randomly selected HouseGuest. Luckily for Helen and her gang, he was not chosen to play. While his showmance Kaitlin ended up winning, she eventually decided she wasn’t brave enough to risk her own eviction and used the PoV to take herself off the block.
Helen promptly followed through with the backdoor play and put up Jeremy as the replacement nominee. At the time, it seemed virtually impossible for him to avoid eviction once he was on the block with most of the HouseGuests planning to vote against him. Even his former ally GinaMarie was more loyal to Aaryn than to him and might vote against him too just to make sure Aaryn didn’t get sent home. Like a true Big Brother player, however, Jeremy was not about to go down without a fight and set out to rustle up each and every vote he could.
