The usual first week on Big Brother determines the first half of the season. If it starts with a big alliance steamrolling the rest of the houseguests, that pattern continues throughout the game. It is not until the second half of the Big Brother season do we see real change in alliances and strategy. We expect the same pattern on Big Brother 19: the actions in this week may define the game.
Tonight’s Big Brother 19 episode pretty much shows the madness that we have come to expect from the season. The episode should revolve around Alex Ow and her quest to win the Power of Veto, and save herself from eviction.
On Sunday’s Big Brother 19 episode, we saw Megan Lowder leave the Big Brother house. This forced Cody Nickson to name a new nominee. His alliance members were quick to pinpoint Alex as a target. However, Cody respects Her as a fighter and competitor, so he didn’t want to make her a nominee and target.
Nevertheless, he talked to her in private and she made it clear that she wanted to take out his alliance; he had to nominate Alex. The Power of Veto competition is the only thing that can save Alex from eviction.
Viewers should also see more of the Paul Abrahamian and Cody feud. On the 2-night premiere episodes, Cody mentioned wanting to take out Paul, but stopped mentioning his vendetta against Paul on Sunday’s episode.
We’ll see if this rivalry gets reignited on tonight’s Big Brother 19 episode.
