One of the most exciting night’s of every Big Brother season is upon us, the live Double Eviction episode. Tonight, we will not only get our usual live weekly eviction, but we will also be graced with an entire week’s worth of Big Brother 20 played out within the one hour episode. With only 7 houseguests remaining in the Big Brother house, after tonight’s gameplay there will be just 5 houseguests left vying for their shot at a half of a million dollars.
First things first, tonight’s first eviction is between Haleigh Broucher and Sam Bledsoe who were nominated to the block by this week’s Head of Household Kaycee Clark. Kaycee has been setting the Big Brother 20 house on fire with her recent run of competition wins sporting 4 wins in the last 5 competitions. Kaycee had total control in the house this past week by winning both the HOH and also the Power of Veto competition. These wins have helped to put her alliance, Level 6, firmly in the driver’s seat going into the final 2 weeks of gameplay.
Last Minute Deals and Dealings
Level 6 have been quite secretive letting their target know she will be evicted this week. Kaycee has wanted revenge on Haleigh ever since Haleigh nominated her to the block twice earlier this season. Although Kaycee was able to dodge both of those bullets, revenge never slipped her mind. Rather than just tell Haleigh she will be going home tonight, Kaycee has been working on convincing Haleigh that Sam is the real target tonight for eviction…in true Big Brother style.
Brett approached Tyler about targeting Angela and Kaycee once Haleigh is evicted. He wasn’t to stay 2 steps ahead of them at all times. Brett feels as though Angela and Kaycee are much bigger targets and need to be dealt with before too much time expires. The end of the game is near. Tyler immediately took the info to the rest of his alliance, Level 6. Kaycee was shocked that Brett has turned on their alliance. She wants to be 5 or 6 steps ahead and not just 2 steps ahead like Brett boasted to Tyler.
Live Eviction Vote
Angela Rummans Voted To Evict Haleigh
Brett Robinson Voted To Evict Haleigh
JC Moundiux Voted To Evict Haleigh
Tyler Crispen Voted To Evict Haleigh
By a unanimous vote of 4 to 0, Haleigh has been evicted from the Big Brother house. During Haleigh’s eviction interview with Julie Chen, she agreed that the beginning of the end of her game was when she revealed to the entire Big Brother house that she was the B B Hacker. Haleigh also said she was excited to see Fessy on the outside of the house. Ironically, during the goodbye messages, Brett blamed Angela, Tyler and Kaycee for her eviction while those 3 players blamed Brett. In the end, Haleigh told Julie that she believed Angela was telling the truth, and Brett was busted in a lie.
Head of Household Competition
This competition is called Boondocks. The houseguests were previously given videos to watch earlier in the day which will come into play in tonight’s competition. Julie will play videos for the houseguests and stop them midway through. Julie will then give the houseguests options for how the video would end. For each correct question answered, the houseguests will receive one point. The houseguest with the most points after 7 rounds wins the Head of Household competition.
Tyler won the competition and is the next Big Brother Head of Household. The houseguests are all vying for an alone conversation with Tyler. With all the whispering, it is difficult to hear what is being said. However, Tyler did tell Brett NOT to win the Power of Veto which is interesting. At the nominations ceremony, Tyler nominated JC and Sam to the block for eviction. Is Tyler planning on a backdoor nomination with Brett? Is that why he told Brett not to win the POV so he can blindside him with a POV replacement nomination?
Power of Veto Competition
This competition is called Block and Roll. This is a puzzle style competition. The houseguests must place colored game pieces in strategic places so that when they roll their ball down their tube, the ball will land in the established completion area. In short order, Angela won the competition.
Immediately after the competition, Tyler and Angela quickly agreed that Angela would use the POV. Once Angela announces that she is using the POV to pull down JC, Tyler will announce the replacement nominee. Angela and Tyler did not discuss who the replacement nominee would be, but this is a pretty obvious decision based on previous conversations.
As predicted, Angela used her Power of Veto and titled it to the group “a step ahead”. She took JC off the block. Tyler then said his move is called “2 steps ahead” and he nominated Brett to the block in replacement of JC. Shock and awe doesn’t come close to describing the look on Brett’s face when this was announced.
Live Eviction Vote #2
JC Voted To Evict Brett
Kaycee Voted To Evict Brett
Angela Voted To Evict Brett
By an unanimous vote of 3-0, Brett was evicted from the Big Brother house. During his exit interview with Julie, she began the interview with “you got played, son”. Brett really didn’t have an explanation as to why he broke ranks and wanted to go after Angela and Kaycee. Brett felt the most betrayed by Tyler. Brett also said he shot himself in the foot and was not bitter and respected the gameplay.
