Big Brother 20 Week 7 Live Eviction Recap (08/16/2018)

This Big Brother 20 week started with the Hive taking back power with Haleigh Broucher winning last week’s Head of Household competition. Then they lost power again when Kaycee Clark became this week’s hacker, but then they had a chance to gain it back with the Veto. They were three to one in this week’s Big Brother 20 Power of Veto competition. The fates intervened and helped Tyler Crispen keep his Cloud app.

Big Brother 20 Angiie "Rockstar" Lantry and Haleigh Broucher

Now for this week’s eviction, it comes down to a Level 6er vs a Hiver, which side will lose a number. All week, both the Hive and Level 6 have been confident in their ability to keep their ally safe. Level 6 believed they had the majority of the votes, minus Scottie Salton. The Hive thought they had at least four votes, not including Scottie. They also forgot that the hacker will likely cancel Faysal Shafaat’s vote, automatically putting them at a voting disadvantage.

Tonight, we will see which Big Brother 20 side was right, and which one will lose a player.

Week 7 Power of Veto Ceremony Fallout

Prior to this week’s Power of Veto ceremony, Haleigh and Angie “Rockstar” Lantry tried to get Tyler to save Rockstar. During his Veto ceremony speech, he made it pretty clear that he had a vendetta against Haleigh now that he knew she was the hacker from last week. Rockstar is just a casualty in this brewing Haleigh vs Tyler war.

Following Rockstar going on the block, Rockstar went to talk to Kaycee Clark. She mentioned how Kaycee was never supposed to go home and Angela Rummans being very entitled. Kaycee then tells all this to Angela.

Tyler checks in with Sam Bledsoe to reassure her that their deal stands. In the Diary Room, Sam says that she believes Tyler and has to trust what he tells her. Tyler also says in the DR that he has been loyal to all his deals, and he will be until he needs to break them.

Faysal and Haleigh continue to get close, and they finally share their first kiss.

Rockstar and Brett Robinson form a fake final two deal. He then goes to tell the Level 6 players about the Mr. and Mrs. Smith alliance.  Then Brett helps Rockstar write her eviction speech.

We get a segment about Tyler’s hometown. Lots of talk about his past as a bowler. Also his family talks about him losing his dad at a young age.

Week 7 Eviction Votes

Everyone has promised Tyler or Haleigh their votes. Level 6 and their allies, Sam and JC Mounduix, haven’t strayed thus far. We find it hard to imagine that they would finally pull away from the pack. The votes should come down in favor of Kaycee staying in the Big Brother 20 house.

Kaycee cancels Faysal votes

Scottie VTE Kaycee
Faysal VTE (vote canceled)
Angela VTE Rockstar
Tyler VTE Rockstar
Brett VTE Rockstar
Sam VTE Rockstar
JC VTE Rockstar

Rockstar is evicted by a vote of 5 to 1.

Big Brother 20 Angie Rockstar Lantry

Rockstar mentions that she thought Sam was the one vote for her. She also said that Faysal and Haleigh were the only trustworthy people on her side. Angela and Brett decide to kick Rockstar when she was down with their goodbye speeches.

Week 8 Head of Household Competition

The Big Brother 20 houseguests start this week’s endurance competition. We have our usual slip and slide comp, where houseguests need to fill up their bucket to get the HOH key. Both sides need this win. The Hive needs it to stay alive, and Level 6 needs it to continue their game dominance. The winner will get to pick between $5,000 and HOH.
