Big Brother All-Stars Episode 5 Recap: Week 2 Blocks Nominees

During the last episode, we watched as the first houseguest was evicted from the Big Brother 22 All-Stars house. Keesha Smith was evicted by an unanimous vote over Kevin Campbell under Cody Calafiore’s first Head of Household (HOH). Enzo Palumbo won the first Power of Veto (POV) competition, but Cody had him firmly in his pocket, so the POV was not used.

Memphis Garrett Big Brother 22

During the second HOH competition, Memphis Garrett came out victorious by beating the competition with his memorization skills. Tonight, Memphis settles in as the next HOH, we will see if any houseguests vie for the Safety Suite, and Memphis must name two houseguests to the block for eviction this week on Big Brother 22 All-Stars.

Week Two Head of Household Aftermath

Memphis has let everyone know this was his first ever HOH win. Needless to say, he was thrilled with the win. On a side note, Kevin is so relieved that he is no longer on the block and survived the first week inside the Big Brother house.

Janelle Pierzina is very happy Memphis is the new HOH as he is another Big Brother O.G. player. She does not feel as though she would be a target for Memphis.

During a conversation with his ride-or-die, Cody, Memphis mentioned that he could chose Janelle and Kayser Ridha for the block this week and let him go at it. Cody and Memphis formed the Commission alliance last week built a six person alliance to provide them protection in going for the final two. Those six are Cody, Memphis, Tyler Crispen, Christmas Abbott, Nicole Franzel, and Dani Donato.

Have-Nots Twist

As a special have-not twist this season on Big Brother 22 All-Stars, the existing have-nots will have to select their replacements for the week once their tour is over. You are not allowed to chose yourself or any of the other outgoing have-nots. Memphis selected David Alexander. Ian Terry picked Nicole F. Nicole Anthony picked Christmas. Finally, Kevin selected Kayser.

Week Two Safety Suite

Memphis met with Christmas, Dani, and Nicole F. from his alliance. They decided that if none of their six person alliance competed in the Safety Suite competition this week, that would look suspicious. Nicole F. and Dani had no desire to blow their Safety Suite opportunity this week when it was not needed.

Anyone coming into the HOH room to talk strategy with Memphis is being told that they should compete in the Safety Suite competition. He is trying to convince the house, sans his alliance, that he has not made a decision yet. Ultimately, Memphis wants the house to use up their one chance for safety this week so he has less competitors next week.

Big Brother 22 Getting Tipsy

This week’s Safety Suite competition, Getting Tipsy, involves houseguests delivering and balance each tray of drinks to corresponding tables. If you tip your table, you must start again. Once all of your drinks are balanced at both tables, their timer will stop. The houseguest to balance both table’s drinks in the fastest time wins safety this week plus one.

The completed time for each contestant is as follows:

Da’Vonne Rogers 8:41
Bayleigh Dayton 2:48
Christmas 1:38
Kevin 2:22
Ian 3:16
Cody 2:44
David 2:53

Christmas Abbott Big Brother 22 All-Stars

Christmas won the Getting Tipsy Safety Suite and picked Ian Terry as her plus one.

Week Two Block Nominations

Memphis nominated Nicole A. and David to the block for eviction this week. Memphis nominated Nicole A. because she chose not to play in the Safety Suite competition when Memphis suggested that she did. He put up David because he is a rookie and needs to prove himself. Who will win the Power of Veto (POV) this week and save their game? Join us Wednesday night, August 19 at 8 PM EST/7 PM CST for another recap.
