A whole slew of Big Brother HouseGuests invaded the Northeast this past weekend to gather together for a great cause! Former Big Brother alums Judd Daughtery, Chef Joe Arvin, Elissa Slater, Jessie Kowalski, Kara Monaco, Shane Meaney, Adam Poch, Michelle Costa, Jenn Arroyo, and Michael “Cowboy” Ellis hooked up in New Hampshire over the weekend to collect money and gifts for the fabulous Toys for Tots organization.
Toys for Tots is run by the US Marine Corps Reserve and gives toys every year to children who might not otherwise have gifts for Christmas. The organization organizes drives each holiday season in all 50 states and Puerto Rico. Toys are collected from October to late December, and then distributed at Christmas times through local social agencies, church groups and other coordinators.
Every year, a local Big Brother fan club puts together an event featuring HouseGuests from various seasons as part of the entertainment. The Big Brother HouseGuests were on hand to lend a voice to the organization in raising funds and collecting toys for the holidays. A number of them, like Judd Daughtery and Kara Monaco, have also been raising funds online for the charity through GoFundMe.com.
