We can’t really ask who got voted off Survivor Blood vs Water this year because the person who was booted out by the Tribal Council isn’t necessarily going to be the same person who gets eliminated. The castaway voted out by their fellow tribemates goes to Redemption Island this season and then battles it out with two other players to determine who went home on Survivor 27 this year.
So it’s a rather complicated process to be the one who was eliminated on Survivor each week this time around but we do have our first castaway leaving on the show this evening. Of course, Survivor spoilers run rampant every season, so we already know who it is probably going to be and we’re just a bit shocked! If these spoilers are indeed true for who goes home on Survivor 2013 tonight, we certainly did not see these results coming.
Last week on Survivor Blood vs Water, we were left with three castaways awaiting their fate on Redemption Island. Candice Cody and Laura Boneham were voted off right at the start of the show by their respective tribes, becoming the first two castaways in danger of going home. Host Jeff Probst, however, offered their significant others the opportunity to trade places with their loved ones. Rupert Boneham, Laura’s husband, immediately swapped with his wife. John Cody, however, did not do the same.
So that left Rupert and Candice waiting to see who would be the third person to join them for the first battle to survive on Redemption Island. At the Tribal Council, the newbie tribe decided to vote out Marissa Peterson, niece of Survivor Borneo veteran Gervase Peterson. So she went off to go against Rupert and Candice to determine who went home on Survivor 27 this week.
According to Survivor 2013 spoilers from usually reliable sources, the person who lost out in the first three-way Redemption Island challenge was mega-veteran Rupert Boneham, previous star of Survivor Pearl Islands, Heroes vs Villains, All Stars and the previous million dollar winner of Survivor America’s Tribal Council. We certainly did not expect Rupert to be the first one kicked off the show this season!
